Oh I agree. I've been on those front lines for a long time, but I think it is time to turn it over to what we call "the kids". We can't keep this up 24-7. I'm the perfect example. I'm old. I will see this to the end, but it will be the end and it will be my destiny. My genZ group of kids are all conservative, they question everything. I think we are in good hands. It does not mean I will not make a win for us when it seems dim or that I will betray what we promised them, but I have to be me to make it work.

I am a contractor and have many GenZ come through my company. They are awake to the threats and rail against them, but I wonder about their resolve. Too much couch time. Many are soft.
The younger ones seem to me also to not have much empathy with problems other people face. I thought it was a liberal thing but maybe it's a generational thing. I don't expect them to look out for the old folks or lower income people when they don't understand the impact, for example, skyrocketing gas and food prices have had on those on fixed incomes or those barely making enough to get by.
