While we're at it, let's REALLY toss the Ring of Power (it ain't the Ring of Cellphones) into the volcano and build a civil society, where there is no power center to attract psychopaths and to slowly enslave us.
"Everything government touches turns to shit." You know THAT's true, also.
See The Market for Liberty for answers to all those "But that could never work because . . ." questions that have been inserted into our minds by the Borg.
They're all bad, try to live without a smartphone for a month. You'll notice your life will get better very fast. The addiction and reliance is very real.
Both are designed to be addictive. This is the problem. Free yourself from the addiction of accessing any information/entertainment you want instantly at the push of a button and a whole new enlightenment will happen.
Make technology your slave, not master. Try living without a smartphone for a month (buy a cheap ass phone to try out).
I've lived without a smartphone at one point for over a year and I can tell you it helps. Have a method to listen to podcasts/audiobooks without a phone (mp3 player or ipod) and make yourself bored. If you have any goals that you've wanted to accomplish, any ideas you wanted to explore, you'll find you have much more space in your life for accomplishing these tasks.
You'll be able to make technology your slave and not your master.
Comparing the several times I was without smartphone and now, I gotta say I got bored without smartphone but I also was able to get more tasks done and reflect more on new ideas. People have a really hard time with boredom in todays age.
My rule was I could always use a computer but I couldn't keep a smartphone on me. I'm going to be going back to that again. I can't enjoy the moment anymore.
While this is a great place to learn, overtime it also becomes a hivemind in opposition the one in power. The only way to take back true individual power is to think for yourself and give space for yourself to reflect and come up with your own ideas.
Great meme! And what with Apple (and so many others) now all-in on getting a big slice of the Social Credit gold rush, it's more important than ever. I'm as addicted to the trap they've set as anyone, so thanks for the reminder.

Burning coins won't make you money, it only benefits everyone else with money.
Android is just as bad if not worse.

It is our reliance on TVs and phone screens that got us in this mess to begin with.
