I mean seriously... the costumes? The luck of the Irish shit, right down to the fucking red hair and masks and shit people wear?
Obviously it's all in good fun, and I don't care. But it's completely hypocritical of the Left.

Because the Irish are not pricks who need to invent grievances and victimization for gibs.
simple, Because Paddies are not Drama Queens. Edit: except maybe Bonehead Bono.
Because it is not cultural appropriation if it is stolen from white people. Especially Catholic white people.
In the weekly letter from the school board they wished us all a happy "Irish heritage day". So it looks like St. Patrick has been canceled here.
I had lunch in a local restaurant that serves all types of food, including Southern food. The owner is Mexican. Today the restaurant was serving corned beef and cabbage, and the owner was wearing a green bowler and green tie. I stopped him passing by and told him "You're not Irish one bit." And we both laughed. The young black couple next to us had their baby dressed in green.
Same reason why black history month, women's history month, faggot month, hispanic history month, etc. is not considered cultural appropriation. it's to celebrate "muh diversity."
On that note, i think I'll have a mess of tacos for dinner tonight... I'm feeling the need to be "multicultural" today.
Cornedbeef tacos...youre on to something.
Because everyone is Irish on St. Patrick's Day.
South Park did this episode already.
St. Patrick was one worth celebrating, he ended slavery and human sacrifice in Ireland. The green beer and shamrock stuff is larping, like Halloween and Talk Like A Pirate Day. I don't know how much real culture is there to appropriate.
Ooooooh no no no, we can't be celebrating that now! Quick, distract everyone with a party!
/s, of course.
As we all know, whites enslaving whites doesn't count as REAL slavery.
Umm white
It is… by the Irish: Patrick was never canonized by the Church, so he’s only a saint by name.
Only because he was a saint before the Catholics set up their silly little rules. The Catholic Church does currently consider Patrick a saint.
You shall not infringe on my drinking!
Cultural appropriation of the "oppressed;" satan's rules.
Worshipping saints instead of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ; satan's objective.
Because if they didn't, people might learn about the actual Saint Patrick.
Why do you think they created a singer named Madonna? Or a whole religion to downgrade Jesus from messiah to prophet? Same motivation, different degree.
