We know only 5% of deaths can be strictly attributable to Covid, so that's like 40k deaths. There very well could be zero child deaths. All child deaths were in terminally ill patients (cancer, cystic fibrosis, feeding tubes, etc.).

I really wonder what the point of the CDC is to the American public.
Let’s assume the CDC is just very incompetent — which I do think is the case as any large centralized government organization is (although technically the CDC is considered and NGO) — then we can surmise that the data collected across the country is chock full of errors and will hardly pass any 3rd grade statistical litmus test.
The issue is the reporting has gone through far too many layers of obfuscation or reorganization.
But! Alas…. Like all NGOs, it’s just one big money laundering profit center.

Those 40k were the individuals who had no preexisting conditions. 95% of all "Covid deaths" had at least one comorbidity.
What the true nature of the 40k deaths were, I can't say; only that they were recorded as Covid deaths.
I remember a whopping number of deaths having around 3 comorbidities if I'm being honest.
75% had three or more. 85% had two.
