Has anyone else been more allergic since having the coof? My daughter's teacher said her son can't have apples and nectarines since he's had Cov 12/2020.... my husband has had no increase in sensitivities.
Go for a 3-5 mile run and your nose will open up like crazy, also quit using smell good stuff of all kinds in laundry, glade plugs, etc.. Also change your air filter, problem solved
Honestly did all the lifestyle modification stuff, did not help. It's been a difficult year. This is the ONLY thing that has improved my condition. Obviously fresh air helped give a little relief but not a cure-all whatsoever.
Coof is some weird shit bio weapon…. I’m in good shape and it kicked my ass for 2 weeks. The one thing that has helped most is vigorously exercising. To where you sweat and are puffing hard for breath. For a good 30-60 mins. Every other day at least. I noticed improvement immediately
No allergy issue though. But it’s certainly not extraordinary to think it can happen.
Thanks so much and glad you recovered. I've been staying active trying to get my body strong since having kiddos, the other day I dug out a big stump from the yard, lol, and it was very satisfying. 😆
Just wondering if it started after you may have had the coof? Would recommend trying this regimen and see if it helps. I noticed an improvement within first 24 hrs. Best to you!
Maybe. We think we maybe had covid in January of 2020. My allergies have been really bad since then. And then this past January we had it for sure as my spouse tested positive as she’s in healthcare and we all had the same symptoms. And since around then my damn nose has been running and coughing cause the snot tries to drip.
Honestly give at least the NAC a whirl, see if it clears you out. I'm doing 500mg 2xday. I haven't been this clear in a long time. It started working within first 24hrs
I take Zinc picolinate, quercetin, bromelain, and the L-cycsteine part of the NAC since Amazon won't sell whole NAC and that is a precursor compound, and the result on my joints is so great I can work out everyday with almost no pain, where I used to be in agony. I feel like I did in my 20s when I just had sports injuries, got sore, got better.
Thanks, that's a hot tip. I can walk to a nice health food store but have to not be lazy. Now the weather is better here. I forgot to add that the adaptogens ashwaganda and C60 are super antioxidant also which appears to enhance and add to the immune system repair and calming, and the chronic pain and stiffness is all gone. Can't recommend those two enough also.
I've started taking these sometime since the beginning the pandemic. I was doing really well but now that it is spring I've had headaches/migraines almost daily.
I started taking a Benedryl pill in the morning, and one in the evening and it has been a big game changer for me. I had tried Allegra and Claritin every day and they didn’t work.
There are a lot of supplements that might help fight your symptoms, and that do good things for your body in general whether they help with your allergies or not.
Nutrients to Support Respiratory Immune Health
Zinc. Zinc has demonstrated antiviral effects against several respiratory viruses, promoting their clearance from the airway surfaces, preventing their entry into cells, and suppressing viral replication. Using zinc in the form of a lozenge within 24 hours of symptom onset may reduce the duration and severity of a cold.1,2
Elderberry. Clinical research indicates elderberry extract, rich in anti-inflammatory and antioxidant polyphenols, may reduce influenza symptoms and shorten duration of illness when started within 48 hours of symptom onset.3
Probiotics. Multiple randomized controlled trials and several meta-analyses have shown probiotics reduce the risk of acute respiratory tract infections. Species of Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium have been found to reduce the incidence and severity of upper respiratory viral infections, including the flu.4
Lactoferrin (as apolactoferrin). Lactoferrin, an immune modulator capable of enhancing antimicrobial immune activity while reducing inflammation, has exhibited a broad spectrum of activity against bacteria, fungi, protozoa, and viruses.5,6
Vitamin D. Numerous studies around the world have found correlations between low vitamin D status and increased risk of respiratory viral infections and poor outcomes.7
Curcumin. Numerous preclinical studies indicate curcumin may activate antiviral immunity, and it has demonstrated antiviral effects against a range of respiratory viruses. Curcumin also helps mitigate inflammation associated with the immune response to infection.8-12
Melatonin. In addition to its role in promoting healthy sleep, melatonin is an antioxidant with anti-inflammatory activity. Some researchers have suggested taking 3–10 mg of melatonin at bedtime for respiratory immune health.13,14
N-Acetylcysteine (NAC). NAC inhibits cellular entry and replication of some respiratory viruses, assists in clearing thickened mucous from the airways, and suppresses inflammatory signaling.15
Vitamin C. When initiated soon after symptom onset, vitamin C may reduce the duration of influenza-like respiratory illness symptoms such as fever, chills, and body pain.16-19
Selenium. Selenium has been shown in preclinical studies to reduce infectivity, replication, and virulence of several respiratory viruses.20-22
Licorice. Active constituents of licorice have demonstrated antiviral effects against viral causes of respiratory infection as well as other viruses. 23-25
Garlic. Garlic compounds have demonstrated antiviral activity against respiratory viruses, such as rhinoviruses and influenza viruses, and have broad antimicrobial activity against bacterial and fungal causes of illness.26
Quercetin. Quercetin may inhibit replication and infectivity of a variety of common viruses that affect the respiratory tract as well as reduce inflammation induced by viral infection.27-30
Andrographis. Multiple randomized controlled trials and two meta-analyses have found andrographis extract, alone and in herbal combinations, reduced symptoms of upper respiratory tract infections and may be especially helpful in alleviating cough and sore throat.31-36
Green Tea. Green tea catechins have demonstrated antiviral actions against influenza and other respiratory viruses. Green tea may help prevent viral respiratory infections and may decrease flu-like symptoms by reducing inflammation.37,38
Ginseng. Ginseng extracts have been shown to activate the antiviral immune response while reducing the inflammatory response, and clinical trials suggest it may lower risk of the flu and improve immune response to the flu vaccine.39,40
Echinacea. Echinacea may reduce the incidence of colds and sick days, as well as reducing the risk of recurrent infections.41,42
Beta-glucans. These prebiotic fibers may stimulate the body’s antimicrobial defense and prevent infection as well as decrease upper respiratory tract infection symptoms.43
The nutrients listed here may generally support respiratory immune health. Additional details are available in Life Extension’s protocols on Influenza, Common Cold, Pneumonia, and Immune Senescence.
Did you try heyfever antihistamines and what did they do? I suspect you did try this but I'm curious if it helped in any way?
I find rubbing Deep Heat (Mentholatum heating rub) quickly helps cure anything from teeth aches, ear aches and muscle pain. I doubt it will cure your problem but it might give you some relief for a few hours, especially when you're trying to sleep. Just rub some around your node, temple and chest.
Nasal sprays, lavages, otc allergy stuff, vapor rubs, hot washcloths, honey, nasal breathing/stimulation techniques have all proven to be a slight temporary relief if not a patch followed by a refractory period.
It has been a difficult period of time. My sinuses and my eyes (which have been terribly irritated throughout this period), are improving. They are clear, my body feels like it is healing.
I want to pass this on to anyone struggling like I've been so they can try something that is actually improving things.
It sounds like an immune system level approach in nutrition and detox is calming your hyperactive immune system back down rather than the mere topical items. Anything that supports, detoxes, calms the immune system sounds like a good bet - all of those are things like the Z-protocol by Dr. Zelenko, not for COVID, but for the post-jab folks who take immune repair and support supplements that are too cheap for big pharma to patent so these simple herbs, supplements, and vitamins never get any promotion of the science that shows how well they work:
Yes Zelenko has been the best. I have been
on his protocol for approx 6 months. I've recently added the Stinging Nettle, Bromelain, & NAC and my terrible ongoing congestion problem is magically clearing up!
Stinging nettle was what I took before, a miracle. Works better than ibuprofen or other NSAIDS on any inflammation. It also appears to calm the appetite.
Cheapest remedy: Whole (with skin) Grapefruit and lemons in a blender 25 ounce glass 2 to 3 times a week, water to thin it down as it has consistency of jell , bitter as all hell! if too much for you throw in half a bag of frozen blueberries to sweeten , half a gallon will keep in refrigerator for around three weeks

Fuck! My sinus have been crazy for a year or more as well. Like the worst allergies ever.

try local honey

You can get NAC at walmart online.

What is your source for C60?
I’ve had allergies forever. But last few years I found these:
Saline nasal spray. Clear Lungs herbal capsules.
And netti pot nasal rinse. Freaky the first few times but amazing results.
Works like a charm.
I've started taking these sometime since the beginning the pandemic. I was doing really well but now that it is spring I've had headaches/migraines almost daily.
What dosages are you taking?
I've been taking 2 of the NAC a day so that ends up at 1000mg day. 50mg zinc. 200mg Vit C. 500mg Quercitin. 500mg Stinging Nettle. 150mg Bromelain.
What is your NAC dosage daily? And are you staying properly hydrated?
My herb dr advised cbd oil for cure allergies, I use a tiny bit topical, seems to haved abated considerably...
I started taking a Benedryl pill in the morning, and one in the evening and it has been a big game changer for me. I had tried Allegra and Claritin every day and they didn’t work.
Thanks and I need to try these, for the same reason!!
