One of the victims has been identified as Fang Fang, the chief financial officer of a Guangzhou media company with mining interests called Dinglong Culture. Two employees of Dinglong’s accounting firm were reportedly also on the plane, but the company denied rumors six other senior managers were traveling with Fang.
In the first link you posted they refer they call her Fang Fang, Fong, and Fang Fung as well as referring to her as Ms then using "he" for the rest of the article. Wtf..
Agreed, it is sloppy. Still a good dig to surface this article. The "coincidence" of this being a different unrelated Fang Fang seems outlandish, though. Could the article be losing or muddling in translation?
Also, the Baidu profile for the Fang Fang that died in the crash was born in 1992, just like the spy Fang Fang. And the profile data starts just a few months after the spy left the US in 2015. Another loose connection is that the spy Fang Fang used fundraisers as cover for infiltrating target groups, and this Fang Fang has a career in finance starting in 2015.

Found a recent picture from a board meeting of that company. There is one lady who could be her. All pics I found with fartwell seem to be pretty old so can't be sure if it's her.

If it is translated from Chinese there is no distinction between 'he' or 'she'.
Ah ..... Swall-o- well may be a name quite aptly fitting .....

" so can't be sure if it's her." Waiting for - They all look the same. Hell I have a hard time myself.
If you think Jackie Chan looks the same as Jet Li then you're just retarded.
How do you know they are not the same guy? I present to you LI Chan! https://imgur.com/a/9I7XgZT
I often wonder if they think we alll look alike too? Ha!
Dinglong? Really?
I think the Huawei CFO is Meng Wanzhou who was released from house arrest in Canada based upon this info and some news articles.
