Despicable woman. Felt that the Iraq sanctions that caused the deaths of thousands of children was worth it. This was just before we obliterated much of the country. I suppose that was worth it too.

I was looking into her over the weekend and thought how rather than act with dignity as a diplomat she tended to be despicable in her manner.
It seems to be a common theme of her generation. It might be linked to yet again parents fleeing Eastern Europe in the 30s to 50s, or it could be an air of aloof untouchable that once the Berlin Wall fell they were unstoppable.
That makes me so happy knowing she's dead.

Yes! That is so true! Same goes for some of the movie stars who start to look like witches — Meryl Streep, Celine Dion, Barbara Streisand, and Madonna (well, before she was replaced with whoever is wearing that rubber mask).
