Height and muscle tone (fast twitch fibers) can affect starts which in effect will gain advantage over the field when some swims are measured in hundredths of a sec. Men have that advantage over women.

This trans athlete caused my kid’s team to lose point totals toward their overall team finish. it caused multiple swimmers of my kid’s to end up scoring lower points. In the end, sadly, it cost my kid a job (it was one of some other reasons,COVID shutdowns in a blue state not withstanding also affected the recruiting).
