Yep. I watched it in real time - in fact, just before they "HALTED" trading GME there was a Buy Ask that hit over $448,000. Then BOOM. It all froze and the price per share dropped $20+.
Fucking scum. The whole system needs to be imploded.
It depends on you broker, for must of them you,can just call them and tell them to send your shares to computershare. They have to push them, normally between brokers it's the opposite. Once your shares are their computershare will send you a letter so you can log onto your acc.
That's the basics, their is probably hundreds of pages of DD on it at r/superstonk,but. For most brokers it's pretty easy if they tell you it will take three weeks or more open a fidelity account. And move them from their,it's much faster.
Mother of all short squeezes. Happens when short positions lose too much money as price climbs and they buy shares while at the same time others are also buying, together causes a surge in price called a short squeeze.
Well, more and more shares are being direct registered (via ComputerShare), which is the key. It takes them out of circulation for this "shell game". In addition to that, the borrow rate is increasing... jumping from a mere 0.5% to over 35% at some points in time. This is costing them big time, the longer they kick the can, the more it costs them.
All we have to do is HODL.
Now... my question is, what happens when the rubber meets the road and their fake shares are liquidated/they are margin called? The value of each share will absolutely skyrocket - because this liquidation occurs automatically from what I understand...
DRS shares worth millions? Regular brokerage shares...?? No clue. If places like eToro, Fidelity, eTrade attempt to "force sell" shares or hold them hostage, they open themselves up to massive lawsuits. Remember RobinHood did exactly that early on - turning off the Buy button and selling shares without consent of the owners...
That's the big unknown, WTAF happens when GME explodes?
I made that graph full screen and went to day. It gives a breakdown of price volume etc and shows volume during those times. Not sure what to think about that.

I guess they stopped the MOASS this morning - that is, they delayed it to another day.
Buy. Drs.
DD confirmed.
Can you tell us how to DRS?

The Mother Of All Short Squeezes.
I got one share. Can’t make me sell cause I don’t care until it is up to FU money!
I have like 5 DRS and like 3 on robinhood. I'm up 80% on the DrS shares and down a bit on RH because I bought that when it was more expensive.
Broooooooo. If you’ve been in a while you know better. If you’re new to this, gtfo of Robinhood ASAP
I had the RH shares first. Don't wanna sell for a loss. Bought the DRS after, but my RH avg price is like 245 so I don't like selling at a loss.
No one said sell. Xfer out
what a warzone over the "short everything" hedgefund demons
Someone was messing with one of the rocket engines?!?!. I can't really see what went on. Did they freeze trading?
They did. Right when the price dropped, as it was climbing... and then a screen cap of a "Buy Ask" hit over $440,000.
Wtf!! How long can they hold this back? It has to be close to the end, no?

Look at that gap in volume in the morning
https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/GME?p=GME
The little spikes on the bottom represent shares traded. Between about 9.36 and 9.42 on the graph there seem to be no trades recorded.
Yes. Mine shows one trade at 937 180k shares then nothing till 942.
