More than absence of Christ they actively want to destroy Christian nations, Christian values, and Christian people. Communism is a religion, a religion of destruction.
Math is never at odds with God. Never. The only thing at odds with God are the godless, the arrogant and atheists (not to be confused with agnostics) who truly believe there is no God and have a problem with others believing in it.
And of course, Satanists.
Math confirms God. The beauty of it's harmony, chaos yet balanced is confirmation. Public schools barely teach math lol
When I read my brothers books in Abeka, they emphasize so much on the characters being in Christian schools where theyclearn about regular subjects and Bible
IMO The education funds should follow the child. Parents should have the right to choose the school they want for their children. This would be an enormous wake up call for the Public School Systems.
Or better yet not tax people so they could spend their own money on for education.
While better than the current system, you idea still supports taxation and the inefficiency of government.
We need to get out of the mindset of where the government should spend the money they steal from us. Our mindset should be; That's my money and I know what to do with it better than them and they have no right to take it.
Except that system is easily gamed. You end up having the government say which schools qualify. When this has been tried on a state level, the schools chosen are always well connected.
Also, you have fly by night charter schools looking to skim some of that sweet money.
What happens when the government makes a rule of that only schools in that promote LGBTQ qualify? Or any other hair brained stipulation? That's why Home School Legal Defense always tells homeschoolers never touch a dime of government money. California homeschoolers have a charter school system where CA would give them a pile of cash. At first, it was great, but then the noose began to tighten with more documentation and rules.
I'll say this as a homeschool parent of 15+ years, you don't "teach" a Biblical worldview, you live it. I've seen kids that were sat down and taught apologetics in a school like way in homeschool get sick of it and treat it like a school subject. We read the Bible most days together and talk about it. I point out things as I notice them and relate them back to the Bible, but not in a forced way. My kids have watched me change opinions and priorities over the years in response to more Truth. This makes it all the more real and sincere for them, so they know my faith is not some program I'm running them through.
Amen- and it works! How do Christian parents even have time to do this when their kids are in public school? That schedule leaves little time for organic teachable moments.
This is our 13th. No regrets! Each year that goes by I am even more thankful.
A worldview is always taught. Why not the one that founded the greatest country in the world?
If you reject the Judeo-Christian worldview then you are just matter floating through space acted upon by time and chance signifying nothing. Nothing matters. There is no objective standard of morality. Everything is subjective.
Everyone has a god in their life. Everyone worships something. Government worship always ends in totalitarianism. If you reject God, you end up where much of society is now.
So yeah, I'll vote for classical Christian education like our founding fathers had. Nothing else comes close.
So a Christian that's ignoring scripture about raising your children up in love and admiration of the lord and instead rendering unto Caesar that which is Caesar's.
Demonstrate in scripture where it tells Christians to give their children to the government in order to be raised up and taught. I'll wait.
And don't be surprised one day when those kids that you gave to Caesar to teach, come home as Romans.
So you think children should be sent to public schools as a ‘missionary”?
I don’t think the Bible puts that responsibility on children. I think we agree. The copout is the excuse for putting children there.
I think public schools should be abolished. Education is not the role of government. I don't think Christians should be sending their children to public schools at all.
Amen. I’d almost consider it child abuse to send kids to public school.

Yep 👍🏻

Parents in control. 100%.

Think more like a founding father.

^ Bingo.
Give them an inch and they take a mile.

That's so many notifications.
But religious indoctrination is ok? Hmmm
And marxist theology isn’t religious indoctrination? No religion is a religion🤣
Judeo-Christian worldview > Cultural Marxism

CCE can be the tool we use to reclaim the culture for Christ. I'm doing all I can to spread this message.
In the words of a fellow Christian who put their kids in public school- the kids are there to be ‘salt and light’ What a freakin copout-
So a Christian that's ignoring scripture about raising your children up in love and admiration of the lord and instead rendering unto Caesar that which is Caesar's.

I’m not sure if you are agreeing or disagreeing with me tbh.
Fixed typos.
Disagreeing strongly.

100% in agreement with that.
