I can actually answer this one. It's a corporate strategy that McDonald's pays literally millions a year for. They use a proprietary mixture of syrup and carbonation different from other people who use coke products and that is also why they have wider straws in their drinks.
Not a conspiracy, they just thought it was an advantage to have the best damn coca cola around.
👍
I used to mess with the settings at a popular drive in I worked at when younger after I saw the distributor adjust a new machine they installed. We had some damn fine soda’s there imho :). They had that same bite on first sip.
So done with MCD after I got sick there last year... And that just wasn't a one time deal. When I was a kid I love eating there but it just doesn't agree with me anymore💀
Yep. For reference, I'm 48. When I was a kid and a young adult, McD's fries were insane.
Then in the 90s, the CSPI started this huge anti-animal fat push, and all the fast food places switched to saturated vegetable shortening. Unfortunately, that had trans fat, so they then switched to unsaturated vegetable oil.
Likewise! I had weight issues for almost 20 years. I dieted the way that the government told us to diet and nothing happened except I kept getting fatter.
I watched Fathead, and tried that way of eating , and now it’s hard to NOT lose weight.
Of course in retrospect, I now realize they told us the opposite of what to do in order to make us sicker and more dependent upon the healthcare system.
I've maybe been to McDs 3 or 4 times in the past 10 years or longer. Only once was it out of desire to have a BigMac which left me thoroughly regretting the decision. Othertimes was purely proximity/convenience & hunger.
And even longer than that since I've gotten a drink there, but when I did it was their orange soda.
They answer is stop eating there.

This! ☝🏻
Didnt McDonalds have plastic in their milkshakes at one point?
haven't been there in years....
It’s what they put in the meat that makes me wonder
I quit drinking the sh!t when I found this out. Disgusting. These people are sick.
Not sure but the username..checks out.

No I hear you there. I still like an egg mcmuffin but the burgers and the rest are gross
And the fries are not what they use to be.
Yup. Ever since they switched from beef tallow to unsaturated vegetable oil, their fries have been shit.
Really that's what they've been using... DISGUSTING They will claim it is healthier

See the movie "Fathead" for details.
Yes, Which is what pushed me and my family to eat healthier! Yeah I saw that movie and thought it was very good 👍

NOT_ADMIN nailed it, stop going there!
It's nasty. Way too syrupy
You know many McDonalds have been found to have human meat in their burgers. My question is why would you eat anything there?
Got sauce for this?
Also their ketchup
