My kids used to go to that school until we left the state and my husband and his siblings went to that school, and it is in a extremely affluent neighborhood surrounding the school! I know a few of the women who helped with this years Hawktion. I used to help make baskets but never went because they were too over the top for me. One year they auctioned off lunch with Will Ferrel and everyone had to wear white. He was filming a movie in the neighborhood at the time. The moms of Hopi are probably pretty ticked over the accusations, predominantly white women. The school/area already gets criticism for being too white.
