yeah, calling them murderers will just make them defensive and dig in for sure. that's just the kind of crap the two protest groups holler at each other, as if they were ever going to change each other's minds.
I think maybe the best kind of appeal might be the testimony of women that regret their own abortions. I feel women always have that instant shut down of " well you could never know what its like " and when they throw that at you.. they are just done and over.. there's plenty of places out there where women tell their stories
You can also appeal emotionally. This works quite well on lefties.
"See this image of a young person who survived a botched abortion and is enjoying life? Look them in the eyes and tell them it was ok for someone to try to kill them."
If they are hyper-left and pushing identity politics, it’s possible to use black abortion against them and make THEM seem like the ones who don’t care about blacks. The statistic that more black babies are aborted every year than are born is a good one for that. It’s gotta be hard for someone to argue that this is a good thing.
I concentrate on what the decision actually is, rather than the fear of what it might be.
This (still-not-finalized) decision returns any regulation over bodily sovereignty to the state rather than the feds. This is much closer to individuals than anytime in the past 50 years.
"Your body your choice" could also mean that you leave your body in the middle of the road to block traffic; or that you direct your first into to another's face. Society in general has a vested interest in preventing you from doing either, and that's why laws are made. The state, being closer to the individual than the federal government, is a much better place for these choices to be made.
People disagree on a lot of things. This country was founded not to make everyone agree, but instead to allow people with very different ideas to get along in a mutually beneficial society without constant revolutions and violence. Austin shouldn't be the same as Boston; Miami shouldn't always have the same laws as Kodiak. Putting important decisions closer to the hands of each individual, letting them conduct their own affairs as they see fit, is a win.
Many normies are somebody’s mother. We can’t make exceptions because we feel some kind of emotional tie. Sometimes we have to admit that mom can be a monster.
And the Lord's servant[a] must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone, able to teach, patiently enduring evil, 25 correcting his opponents with gentleness. God may perhaps grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth, 26 and they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, after being captured by him to do his will.
This is how Trump did it with Hillary in I think the second debate too. She wanted to trap him into talking about first trimester or rape/incest/life of mother and instead of taking that bait, he forced her to defend the extreme of her position, and talked about ripping babies out of wombs at eight and nine months. Normies want to be seen as good, non-political people without strong opinions, so forcing them to own the Democrat extremism is a good way to get them to inch away.
My question is
Why does the law say a driver, abusive partner or any crime committed that leads to the death of a baby in utero have charges that range from manslaughter to fetal homicide depending on the state? yet there are no charges for a person who kills their baby up to the day of its birth, or now in California, beyond the date of birth.
This is an excellent tactic, especially your last point about being the voice from the middle. I’d even go further and say that not being the voice from the middle runs the risk of being counterproductive as it will be seen as confirmation of everything normies see and hear on MSM.
I’ve found a lot of success converting some people that were pretty far to the left of woke and think this topic is worthy of a nice long discussion. I’ll stop by later to reply again or make a separate post if this doesn’t gain much traction, but my co-workers probably think I fell into the toilet if I stay much longer.
Anybody that is out there fighting for this took the shots. They chose to abort themself. How are you going to argue with someone that has already died for their cause?
Great point u/rooftoptendie 👈🏻
And to drive your point home even further, California wants to allow abortion MONTHS after the child is born.
CA - AB2223
Some time ago I proposed a compromise that would allow dems to abort each other until age 30 or so.

It's progressed even further. They want to be able to kill a baby up to for weeks after birth.

I like to use their own debunking articles. Their double speak is rich.

I was expecting a recommendation on caliber.

It was, yes.
Just read this today on my Bible Study.

Make sure that potential Abortive Women see the fetus's point of view. An updated Silent Scream video is needed...

You can’t wake up the people of Jonestown.
