Hi Fren! I've heard about most of the things you write about but I thought the destroyer (was/is it called Moskva?) actually was sunk! Is it correct that it is safe at a russian harbour?
This is two ships that were suppose to be sunk. The first - a couple of weeks ago where a fire broke out - oldest ship in their Navy - and the crew were transferred off of her. She was being towed to Russia when she sank. A couple of thoughts and it was either Alex CHRISTOFOROU or Alexander Mercouris who mentioned it. She was scuttled due to accident etc. so that the enemy could not get anything off her or it was a diversion to move Russian troops into a critical area. The crew were filmed the next day or so being given new ships to go onto. The second ‘sinking’ of another Russian ship was just fabricated by the enemy. A bit like the Ghost of Kiev, Snake Island etc. She was filmed at harbour and it was proved. The names of the ships both started with M. I’ll have to go back and find their names.
It's a bit suspect when any 'official' document has things crossed out and edited by hand. Absent any other context or corroboration who's to say if it was the issuer or the person (before) taking the photo?
I lack any kind of software/ability to compare the blue ink for discrepancies, but that might shed some light.
Many countries do that if their government is corrupt or doesn't have the resources to reprint stuff yearly. iirc a notable example is the DRC, whose government documents are sometimes 5 years old, and they have them printed from China.

Yes the date was changed from 2021 to 2022. Maybe from last years call up.
Looks like it was from the year pre-printed as 2021 and they clerk simply overwrote that with the current year. This hardly nullifies the notice.
This is possible. If you look closely, at least to me, the "2" on the year looks different from the other hand writing.
If someone wanted to "push" that Putin was mobilizing for war, using last years notice with a 2 written over the 1 would be one way to do it.

Is service in the Russian military mandatory? I know Israel does that but I'm not sure about Russia.
Registration is mandatory.
Like the US they must register for their selective service or draft. Being called up though is as significant for them as it would be for the US.
