I caught a spring cold last week. Sore throat, and sinus pressure type stuff. Decided to stay outside and cut wood instead of lay in bed. Within 24 hours I was feeling 100%. There is something to be said for being out in the sun and sweating when you catch a bug. Everything we were told about staying indoors when sick was complete hogwash.
This. I came down with a cold Friday but stayed busy, spent time outdoors etc. Saturday I got up, did a bunch of landscaping in the 90F heat, smoked 2 racks of ribs, did up a bunch of jalapeno poppers, took the family to camp and had some folks over. Polished off 5-6 beers (and plenty of water). Ate like a champ despite body aches and a sore throat, stuffy nose. 6AM rise 11PM sleep. Woke up today and I'm 7/10ths, tomorrow I expect to be better.

I'm disabled, so I couldn't exactly go outside when I caught COVID.
But I knew how to prepare for it--I'd bought lots of Vitamins C and D, zinc, and quercetin beforehand. I also drank a LOT of orange juice.
I got over it in 12 hours and haven't had it since, though I did get an unrelated sinus infection earlier this year, also dealt with with Vitamin C.
But yes, going outside is something we need to do more, whenever possible. I miss playing baseball.
Betterhalf and I did B,C,D and zinc. Also drank airborne Elderberry and took about a week.
Any ivermectin too?
No, I didn't get the ivermectin until later.
I have three tubes NOW, but not at the time.
Good to hear what your experience was like without it
I’ve been curious about stories like that

The cream_y protocol
Can I get this in a handy pill form?
Can confirm. Up today, took doggo on a quick 2mi walk. Feeling great. 9/10ths!
AWESOME!! Great to here.
A pill form of the @cream_y protocol would remove 99% of the fun!
I could get behind 1,2,4 and 4 (again).
People are also lazy.
*boywise ^^
sitting in a hot car works wonders too
Like a sauna session? I agree, sweating is great. Especially if you can repeatedly jolt your system with a cold shower/jump in a pool throughout.
Sweating is one of the best ways to get better. It detoxes you quickly.
