I have mixed feelings about domestic oil, would obv like cheaper gas, but part of me believes we should buy foreign while we can, and keep our tar sands oil strictly as a future strategic reserve for national interests. Trust me, in a few decades, odds are we're going to need it. It could power America and our amazing military for a long time, or we could sell it for short-term profit and screw over our children and grandchildren, and future America.
Big oil will squeeze every drop of our oil, ruin more groundwater, and fatten their bank accounts by selling it to other countries. Sure, our gas will be a lil cheaper, but you can't tell me there isn't some manipulaton of oil prices. Biden's bad policy's + greed combined here.

Nope, just like water, oil is a byproduct of this massive spinning ball we are on. Oil is a never ending supply and cannot be depleted - even if we try. Big Oil and the tree hugging Democrats would love for people to believe the lie that it’s finite and will one day run out. Don’t buy into the hype.

The oil in America isn't refined into gasoline. Our oil is of a superior quality than our Middle Eastern counterparts. We sell our oil and buy lower quality foreign oil to be refined into gas.
Not saying ours couldn't be refined into gas but it would be a waste. Kind of like the difference between bituminous and anthracite coal. Both can be burned to produce energy but one is far superior to the other.
