What is this thread all about?
Just a place for general discussion. A place to unload whats on your mind and talk about anything - personal, health, help needed, achievements, daily highs and daily lows, theories, predictions and what have you.
Does not need to be Q related.
Maybe you want believe me but most back pain is in the head.
I heard a 60 minutes episode when I was many years ago. This world renown back surgeon basically said that I can cure 90% of back pain in one afternoon. (something along those lines)
He went on to say that the back is where pain is felt that is result of mental anxiety. You mind is trying to raise hell with you, and it does it with back pain.
He explained that if you refuse to let you mind play that trick on you, it will give up, and the pain will go away. Just say, "I know what your trying to do, but it's not going to work, stop it, go away."
I know this sound crazy, but I am convinced this it the truth. I am a living example of it's truth. As you back begins to hurt, it gets your attention. It continues to hurt till it dominate your life, you mind, it unbearable.
I've been in lots of car accidents, some head on collisions. MY CB handle used to be Brokenbones, because I had broken so many bones. I use to have debilitating back pain. During on episode I just said, "Nope, I know what your doing, and I will not let you do it, stop now, stop it, go away" I learned to not let my mind control me with back pain, and believe it or not, when it tried to do this, I know how to make it stop almost instantly. It works for me.
Now you can say, "that bullshit", I've been to a doctor and he told me I had a pinched nerve. Well now you probably understand how trustworthy doctors are right? The doctor in the 50 minutes piece used his technique on patients that had tried everything under the sun to stop their pain. He was able to end the pain for many.
Try it, you got nothing to lose. Get mad dog mean, and tell that back pain to go away, you no longer will let it control you.
Actually go to a natural path doctor. He follows along the lines of Dr. Mortar - Best practices.
They are thesis is that a lot of muscular skeletal, and other organ related illnesses are due to mental and emotional thought process.
When I started going there years ago, I was a complete mess. But along with other therapies that I’ve been doing, this one was key. I only go twice a month now, but when things are out of sorts I go there and he works at all out. I Call it hocus-pocus - but without me saying a word, he can tell me exactly what’s going on with my body, and what feeling or emotion I’m going through. Then he tells me what I need to work on if I want those problems to go away.
I would say 90% of the time it works. Sometimes there are surgeries people do have to have, and some issues are so deep that they’re difficult to mend easily.
If anybody’s interested in a brief synopsis, here’s the doctor that I go to.

I think there is value in your comment. Also, a pinched nerve could be caused by contracted muscles, which could be caused by mental stress. It gets treated like it's the cause of pain, but it's really an effect.
This actually works with a lot of things!
Good advice.
I'm blessed to not have ever had back pain, so have never researched it, but I do have additional information.
Back pain, in people with drug dependency - opioids particularly - is part of the craving / withdrawal response. It can create quite the "cycle" for those seeking pain management via opioids and is important to realize if one is in that situation.
Just some additional info in case it helps anyone.
Its called “auto-suggestion” and yes it works
