As much as I feel for this young soldier, I feel even more that our tax dollars should be spent on him, for the rest of his life, because of the sacrifice he did for this country. Screw the illegals and the ghetto punks who sponge off the tax dollar teat, this young man needs the support more so. If we do not get our priorities in order this country will cease to exist and this soldiers sacrifice will be for naught. That is unacceptable. He gets the golden ticket for the rest of his life and the ghetto punks get NOTHING. If the ghetto punks want the golden ticket, enlist, become proficient in fighting and then demand to go to the front lines. If he gets his ticket punched and looses a leg or two, then he gets the financial aid. Otherwise he can go and get a job like the rest of us middle class workers.

They got conned into being pawns for the super-elites who get rich off their deaths and dismemberments.

They don't know what they sign up for, until it's too late.

From what I've found, that's Corporal Casey Owens, and photo was taken at George W. Bush's 2nd term inauguration in 2005. Unfortunately, Casey took his own life in 2014.

He said after 9/11 he felt called to fulfill his duty to God and country. His dream was to be a “lifer” in the Marine Corps and he enlisted in August 2002. Once training was completed at the MCRD, he entered into Marine Combat Training in 2002, and TOW gunner training in 2003.
Owens deployed for a second tour in Al Anbar Province in Iraq in August 2004. On September 20, 2004, his vehicle struck two anti-tank mines which resulted in severe injuries to his legs.
After a return to college which proved unsuccessful due to traumatic brain injury, Owens became an accomplished skier and marathon runner in the Paralympic Games.
Owens struggled with post-traumatic stress disorder and alcohol dependence. In a 2012 interview with CBS News, Owens said: "I really don't think I'll ever be free. I don't think the burden of war is ever gone."

When I see this it just angers me, lost his legs and changed his entire life for what? So a bunch of corrupt politicians can line their pockets and run our country into the ground, They have no remorse or could careless about this brave hero, I would never let my kids serve if I could help it.

Here is a thought. Deport all illegals back to their countries or offer them a one way ticket to Mars and they can start a colony. We need a get tough policy on crime. With repeat offenders the years in prison increase dramatically. Put prisoners to work: road crews, manufacturing Made in America products: computer chips, furniture, tools, etc. Whatever happened to chain gangs? Those in prison can be chipped. Make them work on crews like Habitat for Humanity building better housing for our military and those in the inner city. Impoverished who want government housing, food, and medical care must work or volunteer to get what they need. They want better housing, they can go out and help build. Construction crews can train people and get tax credits. Our disabled vets deserve everything! Free housing, food assistance, medical care of their choice, and first dibs at work from home via remote.

The offensive part is how they use our children to further their corrupt agendas.
