So some quick research shows its most common in the first 2 weeks of life for babies that were fed formula instead of breast milk. Also affects premature babies far worse. Inflames infants intestines and causes them to die. So if you feed an infant breastmilk, you are nourishing him and helping him grow Feed an infant formula produced in some factory - possibly kill the poor little soul. We should be asking what's in formula that isn't in breastmilk which is likely causing this! All the chemicals in our commercially produced food is catching up with us. I hear of so many little ones with stomach issues and it's probably the formula - it's not enough to to cause fatal damage to a 1 year old perhaps but it sure seems to effect these <2 week olds
My heart breaks for these innocent children. We are failing them as a civilization. What makes this especially sick are all of the left wing media articles DISCOURAGING women from breast feeding and telling them it's somehow bad for their baby. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.theatlantic.com/magazine/archive/2009/04/the-case-against-breast-feeding/307311/&ved=2ahUKEwif7e6akrD4AhXQF1kFHf6pBqoQFnoECCsQAQ&usg=AOvVaw1dAC1i5IMcXyxTXGLRd0p5 We live in a world perverted by evil Please encourage all the moms you know to give their babies breastmilk!
Formula is a last resort not an equal source of nourishment. Don’t even get me started on mass produced baby food. My kid is getting our dinner but puréed. No extra heavy metals in that.
You are spot on. We always puréed our dinner and used meat dripping or juices from cooked vegetables to purée our children’s food. Rarely did we buy jarred baby food.
Very sage advice. Encourage but do not guilt them if they are unable to breastfeed.
Correct, my wife went dry after the second month with our first born.probably stress induced, but he grew up strong and smart.
Even two months gives the baby a good start, especially with the immune benefits. The mother transmits her microbiome to her baby. The mother who nurses IS her baby's immune system.
I have an old folk medicine book from the 60s and it talks how honey in cows milk is wonderful for babies if breast milk isnt available. They even said back then that corn syrup is hard on babys tummies. Got me thinking how they claim honey is bad for babies under 1 but feeding them corn syrup is no problem. Everything is a lie
Very good. If people want help with nutrition, they should look into talking to a Nutritional Therapist. These are people trained to resolve nutritional deficits and often many disease states through assessment. Look up the Nutritional Therapy Association in Olympia, WA.
Pretty hard to disagree with the sentiment by trumpette that everything is a lie. You pretty much have to give her that one sorry.
Corn Syrup has sugar added to it and less nutrients than honey.
FYI honey can contain botulism and can kill young infants.
But honey kills microbes on contact by reverse osmosis.
But botulism spores can remain present and they will cause your baby to die
Well, feeding kids HFCS is certainly bad for them. It turns into fat in the liver.
Formula is mostly sugar and soy. It’s horrible stuff.
Soy formula is especially bad. Camel milk and goat milk are good alternative to breast milk. The Weston A. Price Foundation website has an alternative recipe for breastmilk and it has been used very successfully by thousands of mothers. Soy contain a lot of estrogen-like compounds and should never be used. This leads to early puberty in girls, and perhaps over- feminization of boys. Don't use it, or give your kids soy except for fermented soy products, like miso, tempeh or soy sauce.
I've read on here that the amount of aluminum in formula is really high relative to what we are exposed to.
Aluminum is linked ro alzheimers IIRC and other conditions. It's why people always warn not to make a smoking pipe out of a soda can, apart from the ink on the surface of course.
