Most people don't understand the complexities of caring for our elderly, let alone veterans. It takes a special kind of calm patience to help some of them. PTSD, dementia and alzheimers patients especially.
It is so sad to see this, elderly abuse of civilians and veterans is rampant across the world.
I have worked for the Veterans home, it was an amazing experience, yes they are some who are challenging, but if you calm them down with sweetness, it will be ok. I do not understand how he will not be fired by now, he will be where I worked immediately.
The patient hits the employee first but the employee takes it too far in retaliation with the choking and head kick. What were they arguing about? The employee was pointing his finger at the patient before the patient pushes his head back.
No the employee was pointing his finger in the veterans face and just like anyone would do, the veteran pushed his hand out of his face, then the employee went bat shit crazy. The veteran said this ...
Webb said he did not know why Gaillard attacked him. He told WSB-TV that he was at the VA to receive instructions for a pending hernia operation and knocked on Gaillard's office door to tell him he planned to use the restroom.
In the video, Gaillard is seen pointing his finger in Webb's face, to which Webb responded by smacking at Gaillard's finger.
"He said, 'Man, I'll go upside your head.' I said, 'No, you won't,' [and] that's the last thing I remember," Webb told the station. "I'm still trying to figure out why he hit me."
Ok, through the blurring, it's hard to tell if he actually didn't hit the employee's face. Yet for one, I wouldn't push away a finger pointed at me by a hostile stranger in the first place because that can be counted as an assault. Let them make the first move.

Good grief, if that was the reason why all of that started, then their bathroom policy must be very strict! Just let the guy use the bathroom; it's not going to hurt anyone. On the other hand, maybe they were really arguing about something else; too bad there's no audio.
Really makes me, as a Veteran, want to seek out services at the Atlanta VA from Lawrence Gaillard. Oh Larry, wish we could spend 1 minute in an adjacent, un-recorded room. I'd return the favor you sorry piece of fucking shit.
The stomp and kick to the head deserves a CHARGE OF ATTEMPTED MURDER
Give me 5 mins with the POS

This should have been an attempted murder charge.

Arrest him now
Strange. I've never seen a black healthcare worker beat up an elderly person before. There's no way this could possibly be a pattern.
This is what makes a reasonable man turn unreasonable
Exactly. We can only take so much.
Anyone responsible for keeping him employed should be delt with also
I agree
Dox him. Let nature take its course.
Repulsive.

The fact that his face is blurred probably indicates that he is innocent and this is just a misunderstanding.
They vet got handsy first. It was assault. Just sayin’.

Is the worker an immigrant by any chance?
I hope he gets hit by a truck. Just another empty headed animal.
Just put him as a target where I go and practice
