I don't know, Paxton has led the charge on outlawing abortion and I think we finally have a supreme court that is reasserting Christian values into society. All of the depravity of the Obama-era courts that allowed gay marriage is being rightly undone now.
Gay marriage is fair enough as it's ridiculous for the law to force the church to marry people that goes against its own teachings. It's like forcing Satanists to pray to god for forgiveness. Makes no sense. Sodomy on the other hand is nobody's business in your private life, except those in your private life. Whatever happens between two consenting adults should not be the law's concern!
Well tbh churchs are still allowed to deny marriage to gays but the real sin was that the Obama court decision allowed LGBTOF4+ people to get married and recieve the same legal and tax implications as normal couples. That is the sinfulness that this court is eradicating.
As for how sodomy enforcement works? I think deterrence will work best, just like abortion. When we find guilty parties we punish with maximal efficiency. This is how we take back our country.
Nah. I think that's a step backwards that would end in resentment. I'd stand by them as I don't think the state should ever enter the lives of private individuals unless they are fucking kids. State should not get involved with the private lives of others. As for the tax implications, I think it's a bit more complex. At the end of the day. How's it any of your business unless they want help with their homosexuality from you? (not having a go btw just in case it sounds like that). I find it to be a sin of morality and religion, not of law. It's like saying we should arrest folk for lying, gossiping or for attention seeking which are also wrong in Christianity. It just goes backwards into another big brother state, except this would be with extremely religious overtones.
How the fuck is some body meant to enforce this? "Open up, it's the gay police. We have a warrant to suspect you of sticking your dick up someone's ass". I don't believe sodomy to be right myself. But to bust someone's door and drag them off to jail in a paddy waggon because a guy is being intimate with another man, is a step closer to the V for Vendetta scheme of tyranny!
I think the tyranny is the PC police and wokeism of big corporations. The Supreme Court, AG Paxton, and Trump are reasserting Christianity in our society.
There's a difference between reasserting and dictating Christianity. Trump hasn't forced free thinking people to follow God. He speaks his mind and if people follow, that's their choice. I know many non religious Trump supporters. Even some gay ones. What this AG is doing is forcing the state into the private lives of what should be a free people.
People are asking how this can be enforced... It can't. However, there are some ways you might be able to at least reduce it. For example, if a man checks in to a hospital with every possible parasite and STD in his rectum, wouldn't that be grounds for self-harm just like if he were to show up with needle marks all over? Instead we get people like Tim Cook whos probably told it's okay to get stitches regularly up the ass. Imagine having signs in hospitals telling gay men their behavior is actually harmful to them no matter what they do instead of virtue signaling it all!
If there is any validity to any governments "turning the frogs gay", then even with Bible telling us it is evil, how can I judge a person who never would have made those decisions without some hormonal changes that were not of their own choosing?
Also how would this be enforced? Sure I am all for banning simulated acts in public (ie parades, parks, public events, etc...) to help preserve the innocence of youth, this would also include hedro simulation. That said, how far would that go & at the current high school level, how much backlash would there be?
We must win the culture war first & teach correct principles to win this.
Well, I really don't give two fucks for the gays after what the GLAAD block has done with their movement but this is pure stupidity.
(RKelly voice) "Get back in the motherfucking closet" takes on a new meaning.
...and after the onslaught of social programming and litigious action I would take a perverse pleasure in this........but it is fantasy and utterly ridiculous and an example of what we are fighting against.
Edit:- Can we just troll them with it for a week or so? Please?
Go ahead, it really has no effect on people's personal lives. Things would go back to the way they were when people kept their lives more private. This kind of thing always happens, the pendulum swings too far one way then it swings back too far the other way. People stay pretty much the same. But in this era of social media it would be much harder to be private because people are in TMI mode! The way to have things be one's own business, is not to publicize your private life, obviously.
I certainly hope not. It's no one's business what happens in the privacy of one's own home unless it involves kids.
No one will know what happens in the privacy of one's own home...

Get rid of any government benefits for married couples

Oh I agree but Trump did get us victory on RvW, I think more wins for Christian patriots are coming.
Hopefully many more to come. But must be watched closely for liberty is always one step from tyranny
Pure pandering. That would be an unenforceable law, just like it was before.
Depends on what we call "sodomy." There was a case that made it to the SC. But I agree, unenforceable mostly.
"Mr. X, you are charged with sodomy. We have a warrant to search for the evidence!"
*Good luck. My GF likely swallowed it."
lol @ GF comment
If you look at the dictionary definition of "sodomy" it refers to any non-vaginal sex. Ever give head? Sorry, you're a sodomite too!
That's why it's unenforceable - if anti-sodomy laws are only applied to gays, then you suddenly have an equal protection problem.
