The cooties was so, so contagious that we never even had to set up secure haz mat disposal sites, they just people just spit and breath in them and toss them on the ground, hang them from their car mirror, toss them any old trash can for anyone to pick up.

Have been saying this around my social circle since the mandates started: "If these mask are so effective, then why are there no biohazard containers to dispose of them"

I did that on broader forums etc, but not to my near social circle. Hinting at or insinuating that COVID is not real, immediately marks you as a conspiracy nut, and I want to redpill them, not push them away.
The typical "surgical" mask comprises a mat of random plastic fibres. When you spindle, fold or mutilate (oldies will get this) such a mask, the fibres loosen and you breathe them in, potentially causing Interstitial Lung Disease (incurable). If you discard such a mask, those fibres pollute the environment indefinitely.
Yup been throwing this one at as many normies as I can! I say do you really think there's such a deadly virus going around yet people just throw them in the street, and not in a yellow meds bin! Or worse, they wear there little homemade old T - shirt masks made from cotton, wear them for 8 hours at work, come home and throw them on the table along with everyone else's that are (supposedly) contaminated.

Yeah, I see those stupid things everywhere now.... parking lots, by the side of the road, everywhere. I suspect that the debris that pollutes our country changes with whatever the public is fixated on at that moment. It used to be plastic bags hanging in trees, blowing in the wind, ending up in creeks and sewage treatment plants, before that it was cigarette butts everywhere. But fewer people smoking, and the irrational fear of covid driving people away from stores, those things diminished, and now we're seeing the fear porn in a very physical way, millions of castaway masks everywhere. I'm hoping the next latest thing will taking our country back and the litter then will be empty shell casings.
It would be great to see empty shell casings littering Washington and our state capitals.
