I want to read more, use electronics less, exercise, and cut out sugar but lack the ability to get myself to be disciplined in doing these things.
Sign up for a local gym and buy a series of personal training sessions, no less than 4-6 weeks at 3x per week. Do not complain at what they may cost. You must do this for yourself. Don't miss these. Go and work hard.
Get a good haircut and pay attention to your personal hygiene. Bleach your teeth. Get a few new fitted T-shirts and shorts and flip flops for summer. Pick bright colors.
After each of your personal training sessions, get on one of the treadmills and walk or jog for 15 minutes more. On the days when you do not have a training session, just go and do quiet stretches and then walk on the treadmill for at least 15 minutes. It doesn't matter what time you go. It can be late at night or first thing in the morning. When you get home, shower and use a washcloth to scrub your skin vigorously all over to stimulate your dermis. Do this every time. Then go nap.
Any day that you can, lay out in the sun with as little clothing as possible. No sunscreen. 10-15 minutes on both front and back, exposing a lot of skin.
When you are rested and showered, go out and do something. Go to a public place like a shopping mall or beach or other place where people are active. Try to engage in pleasant conversations with strangers. Keep your phone off.
Soon, you find you have reawakened your spirit and will feel up to enjoying life again.
Interim fast. Start by limiting for from 11 to 7 every day. Don’t eat much at 11 if you can. I usually have a big grapefruit. Then I let myself eat whatever I want at around 1. Usually eat again at 4? And then light dinner at six. It really works because I think once you fast your blood sugar levels off and you’re not as hungry
Today I ate too much and lost my focus at 3. Once you connect the feeling to what you are eating it really doesn't take any willpower at all. You don't want to lose your mojo by loading yourself down. I am 58 and had gained a pound for every year of my 32 year marriage. I am down to my wedding size 2 and it didn't really take that long. It feels great.
Totally agree, eat the good stuff cut the processed stuff. Use real butter, real fats. Eat meat, sugar from the earth. It seems weird but it’s what we need to function. We’ve been told otherwise for far too long. Exercise. Do what you can. Weirdness alert....look in the mirror daily and think about how good you look. Manifestation is a real thing. You can work for it physically, but you also need to “see” it. Mediate, work on becoming higher vibrating. Stretch!! You can’t be a beast without your mind working with your body first. Higher vibrating people are naturally more radiant and healthy. I kid you not. It’s a mind set as much as a routine.
Stop using the microwave and eat uncooked things throughout the day. I noticed a huge difference in my mind and body health when I started this. During the day it’s summer sausage, nuts, fruits, veggies. Breakfast (usually just eggs) and dinner it’s, game on. Meats and fats. I noticed a complete energy drain and inflammation anytime I used the microwave. I hate the thing!
