Sure, He’s always been one of my favorite’s. Maybe because I’m country and from the south. I feel like I watched him grow up. He probably saw something along the way. He stopped NCIS just before Covid hit. You can see the fake in some people. I haven’t seen it with him. He’s always posting about family and church. I think he’s still doing a movie here and there but nothing that takes him away from home for long.
lucas_york_black It is fun being a dad
Since we homeschool I am their Physical
Education teacher. Hahahaha. I setup an
obstacle course that included chopping
wood with an axe, cutting brush with a
machete, shooting a crossbow 25yards
away from target, and we ended it with
military crawls in the mud. All of our
exercises were 5x5. I am proud of my boys
perseverance. They overcame adversity
and became mentally and physically
stronger. Sweating and getting in the dirt
build toughness and it squashes the
tendency to whine and shrink back. We are
raising warriors in Christ.
I’ve always really liked him. The first thing I remember him in was The War with Kevin Costner. He was about 10 years old I think.
He was in American Gothic as well.
Also the first X Files movie.
Never saw that movie but saw him in something. That kid was a great actor, a natural. I didn't know any of this about him. Thanks for posting.

Friday Night Lights.
He was the QB.

I wouldn't have remembered that. Thanks. I did see that, but when I think of FNL I think of the tv show.
I saw him in a movie long ago when my girls were young. I had a mom crush on him- I loved his accent!
I get that. I’m older than him so no crush. I was probably about 29 the first time I saw him & he was just a kid. He’s the kid in Slingbade.

"i like the way you talk"
Thank God for people like this, a great influence
But he wasn’t in My Dog Skip…?
Most people probably know him from Friday Night Lights and some of the Fast & Furious movies.
Dang! I can’t believe I thought that all these years. You are correct.
He was in Tokyo drift and Jarhead too
besides...everybody knows little boys need a lil dirt to grow =P
*Abou Ben Adhem (may his tribe increase!)
Awoke one night from a deep dream of peace,
And saw, within the moonlight in his room,
Making it rich, and like a lily in bloom,
An angel writing in a book of gold:—
Exceeding peace had made Ben Adhem bold,
And to the presence in the room he said,
"What writest thou?"—The vision raised its head,
And with a look made of all sweet accord,
Answered, "The names of those who love the Lord."
"And is mine one?" said Abou. "Nay, not so,"
Replied the angel. Abou spoke more low,
But cheerly still; and said, "I pray thee, then,
Write me as one that loves his fellow men."
The angel wrote, and vanished. The next night
It came again with a great wakening light,
And showed the names whom love of God had blest,
And lo! Ben Adhem's name led all the rest.*
May your tribe increase, sir.
This in large numbers is what our enemy fears.
...I feel like i've seen him in something... did he used to play bit parts as a slightly geeky redheaded kid?
maybe that was someone else, this was in the nineties...

Every time I see Louisiana mentioned, I can't help but wonder how much better we could've had it without decades of rampant democrat corruption.
Same in Eastern North Carolina.
