They really don't belong in the profession. Saw a response by a doctor on this yesterday. He pointed out that these people will be coming in contact with all kinds of bodies and entrusted with the care of those bodies from all walks of life. They aren't all going to be clean and nice. Junkies. Wife beaters. Extremists from all points on the spectrum. Doesn't matter. Not your job to judge. The job is the LISTEN. If you can't handle this, then you won't be a good doctor and the patients don't deserve it.
Agreed. Honestly though, the one thing I have learned during this Great Awakening is that nothing has really changed throughout time. We ALWAYS have to critically assess info given to us by ANY source. We ALWAYS have to vet our doctors before entrusting our health to them. This is the way it has always been, we just have collectively gotten lazy and complacent.
It is a little scary to realize just HOW carefully we need to vet, though. It's worse than we could have imagined.
My first thought is that if these future doctors are offended by human life, then they shouldn't be doctors. What an unbelievable embarrassment to the profession. These are supposed to be America's brightest students, and yet they lack even the basic discipline to hear a view that is contrary to their own! Do they not learn on their OB rotations that they are caring for not one, but two patients: the mother and the baby?
I did notice a lot of the new “white coats” were wearing masks! I wonder how they will feel when they start their practice and new patients ask THEIR stance on abortion and refuse to see a Dr. who is pro- death for children! Especially a Pediatrician!!!!
Many, possibly even most of their patients will be Pro Life. What will they do then ?
How low would they go to hurt or kill people who aren't in their cult ?
So many are mentally unstable. Imagine having a serious health problem and they suspect your pro life. They are incapable of separating their beliefs from work.
I think we should all stop using the term abortion, and call it what it is. This will frame the dialogue right away and give them less time ahead to frame it for us.
