That's the only exception to this other than that I agree. All other identities will fall away because they are an illusion created from this fallen world.

You don't 'identify' as a follower of Jesus, you ARE a follower of Jesus.
Identify:establish or indicate who or what (someone or something) is.
We all have identities that we hold onto. Mine is Christ
But why 'establish or indicate' what you are, instead of just stating the fact that you are?

I think you might be buying into the 'virtue signalling phrase' of 'identify'.

It's a noble endeavor, but you may want to consider what the overall result is of 'using their words'. It strengthens their ability to change the language (for their gain).

Christ light shines through all. Like I said fren I'm just having fun with my family here on Great awakening. We dont win this battle by telling them they are wrong. We win this battle by shining the light of Christ to every soul we can.

fren, I wanted to tell you - I have been participating in your prayer threads, and I've been praying for a resolution to family situations. Of course, I always have my big ideas how things should look. Anyway, in the last week it seems like the floodgate has opened. Doors and situations are opening in ways that never occurred to me, and one by one my needs are being answered. So thank you for all of your encouragement and most of all your consistency. :)

I could dye my hair, wear makeup, and put on a bikini and identify as a young one, but I would never pass.Nothing makes a woman look older than when she tries to make herself younger, no matter what age she feels inside.
