They believe that if God exists, He wouldn’t let suffering happen in the world.
They believe God is Santa Claus, and that He should only exist to do our bidding.
That’s why the devil is so appealing to them - the devil gives them what they want. And when things don’t go their way, they blame God, or the lack thereof
What i've come to understand truly is that God knows us better than we know ourselves. I've prayed for many things that I wanted but in the end I came to find that what I was given was way beyond what I prayed for and never knew that what I was given was more than I'd ever hoped for. That is how my faith has grown. I know that we pray for restoration and healing of our land, I have a feeling that we'll be given far beyond what we'd ever hoped for.
They and even many Christians don't truly understand the Seed wars that have been going on since the insurrection of the dragon in heaven. Mount Hermon was the place where the tribes of Caan met with the watchers and the watchers lusted after their women. The watchers took the women as mates and created Nephilim and giants. We are at war with forces unseen but very real. God destroyed everything but humanity and his animal creations.
Some made it past the flood and still fight the spiritual war we are seeing today. Genesis 6 and the book of Enoch set the story and history of what we are seeing today. Our history books are filled with deception and half truths. The history of our earth is so much richer than anyone can every imagine.
Well... the way a lot of Christians represent Him, He kinda does...
If you have ever wanted to understand why some people are in Rebellion, try to see God as the monster that they do... then you can start to understand better.
No disrespect to you, fren, but I don't waste my time trying to understand people who think God is a monster. I don't have time for that. Am busy being grateful. Have a great day!
How sad, to think of God as a monster

God doesn't always give us what we want, but at the proper time and place, He always gives us what we need.

Amen
