i didn't think i would ever meet someone who says this word for word. to put it generally we were talking about women's rights and i asked her the famous question. "what is a women?" and she replied "a women is someone who identify as a woman".
overall she says that she wont see my perspective and "my truth" so i say what about "The truth"? and she keeps saying that "The truth" is "my truth" but also hers as well. her truth is also "The truth" as she explains.
so i try a thought experiment. i ask her a question:
"there is a 100 people in a room and there is a chair in the middle of the room. if you were to ask every person if the chair was there what would they say? there are no wrong answers"
the goal of this question to to gauge how someone views objective reality. if you say that most would say its there one could assume that the physical reality has proved itself enough to have a word that defines it. the word "chair" is based on something that exists and will always be the case. same thing applies to women. time and time again women are born with different autonomy, different bone structures compared to men and we call them such because of these observed differences.
If 80 people say the chair is there... and 20 people deny it exists despite all evidence, the solution is simple.
Take those 20 people and crack their heads on the chair... then ask the same question about whether it's real or not.
Rinse and repeat. Eventually everyone will finally admit the chair exists. The ones with lumpy foreheads will have learned a valuable lesson.
Does anybody still remember the little psyop pulled years ago with the dress that appeared to some to be green, and to others, gray?
That was a test.
"String Theory" is an attempt to rationaiize "multiple simultaneously occurring realities" that don't exist, in order to confound and confuse the one that does.
Gaslighting?
Yes. Metaphysical gaslighting.
A woman is someone born female with XX chromosomes. Despite what you may what to add to your body or how you identify, your birth chromosome is your blueprint for your sex. I may identify as an Apache helicopter but it doesn't change my biological blueprint.
Sadly, life is not quite that straightforward. All people start out the same and they develop, usually, into two different types of people that we call men and women. However, sometimes that development goes wrong somewhere along the way or the usual XX or XY options are not found. For example XXY is a rare option but there are others.
All these people have XY chromosomes. They have Swyer Syndrome.
So while I agree that the wokists are using gender identity in a bad way for their own nefarious ends the idea that it all comes down to XX or XY is also flawed.

Nothing is black and white, and there are always oddities. But as you admit these cases are rare. I am not talking about 1 birth in 100 000, I am talking about the other 99 000!
That's from Abraham Lincoln. Even leftists generally appreciate him. But if they don't, faux folksy Warren Buffett said it too. https://www.cnbc.com/2019/02/25/warren-buffett-loves-this-riddle-from-abraham-lincoln--heres-why.html
Of course none of that helps if the dog identifies as a woman.
They are calling personality differences different genders. If I like redheads and blondes, I'm "Bi-color Queer" or whatever.
And Blah are people that identify as Blah.
