one should be using it with knowledge. it will kill all of the surface cells and slow healing, but if there is dirt and crap in the wound, it will bubble that loose and get it out.
it isn't always the right tool for the job.
iodine disinfects, but kills all those top cells as well.
and for those screaming "we always did it", it was marketed by the same folks telling you the fluoride in your water is ok.
1:1 water - 3% hydrogen peroxide - your teeth will be whiter and you won't get sore throat.
One decent dentist who doesn't recommend fluoride to his patient has given me that advice.
Gargle with diluted hydrogen peroxide for 3 minutes, rinse and wash your teeth with organic natural toothpaste.
Before I had to go for professional cleaning every six months. Now I don't get any tartar and yellow deposits between my teeth.
Btw. If you feel you start getting cold symptoms - put two-three drops of 3 percent hydrogen peroxide into your ear, wait a couple of minutes, repeat with other ear and gargle with it.
It's actually getting harder to find in stores. I've seen it getting replaced on the retail shelves by "safer" products. But aside from a few random pharmacies like that, it has still been available.
For those who think they couldn't possibly ban it, you're wrong. In California they have banned retail locations from carrying Lugol's iodine solution. You can still order it online, at least until the regulators decide to crack down on it, and other forms of iodine are available. I asked at a local holistic pharmacy and spoke with the pharmacist who explained why they can't carry it even though they want to. They also made canine ivermectin, which used to be otc even in supermarkets, only available with a veterinarian's prescription.
If anybody in California can disprove it by buying at retail, feel free to correct me. Obviously we're under arrogant tyrants here in CA, and most states are freer than that.
Well I guess if you’re allergic 🤷♀️ I don’t have a problem with it but my husband must be allergic. He uses hydrogen peroxide to restore vintage computers (the stronger stuff most often from Sally’s beauty supply but still diluted). He uses gloves but got splattered on his arm and it caused a painful reaction. We realized pretty quick that he is allergic to hydrogen peroxide. I can reach in no problem and my grandma always used hydrogen peroxide on my cuts as a kid…I liked the bubbling.
Yes, he knows how to use it! I don’t use it. He restores old apple/Mac computers and he has to use the stronger stuff. He also works with other stuff I wouldn’t and restores monitors. He wears gloves but didn’t have long sleeves on and as he was putting a case in it splattered on his arm. It is highly diluted too but he also has reactions to traditional (that’s what he started with but became too expensive…use more to less water as opposed to stronger with more water). However if he needs something pulled out I do it with gloves so he doesn’t risk it getting on him as he will blister but it doesn’t hurt me. Pretty cool process, completely restores old cases to new. He loads them with all sorts of programs and sells them to people who like the nostalgia. Best way to get the yellow out of plastic.

Iodine also stores better for you prepper types
Works like magic on dog bites. (whether dog on dog or dog on human). Usually only need the first 'wash' on a fresh bite.

Yep me too even brush my teeth with it. Great for cleaning wounds.

Fact checkers prefer monkeypox juice. So gross.
They don't make enough money from it.

The stronger concentration of stuff is dangerous. Only get the 3% level offered OTC in drug stores unless you are well versed in handling it.
