Many of you have been so kind to pray for my best friend who has been in hospital for two weeks now fighting various maladies. Today they got word that she has a very aggressive bone cancer that has destroyed her body’s ability to make red blood cells. They gave her only days to live. My heart is broken, but my comfort is in our Hope in Jesus. I know she will go home to Him, and one day I will see her again and we will spend Eternity praising Him for His great salvation for us! God always answers our prayers - sometimes just not the way we hope. His ultimate gift is to take her Home, to spare her any suffering. His answer IS healing and mercy. Please pray for her and her family - for peace for her knowing her days with her husband and family are short, and for the ones left behind. She is the heartbeat of their home and she and her husband have been together since they were kids. This will be a hard good-bye for all of us. Thank you for your love and support throughout this time and especially for lifting up my best friend - straight into her Saviour’s arms ❤️

Thank you. She is a woman of great faith, I know she trusts Him but, like for any of us, I am certain she does not want to leave her loving family. It’s a hard good-bye, for sure. Still believing God for a miracle.

I’m sad to hear of the loss of your friend, however I am encouraged to know that they know the Lord! With God all things are possible, and he will be the glue that will keep that family together that she is leaving behind. I pray for comfort for the family, and continued peace in knowing that this person is leaving behind a positive legacy. Just remember… Always celebrate their life, And they will always be with you in spirit.

Yes, all true. I am sure it’s a difficult transition to make when you’re still here and present in the life you’ve always known - trying to imagine leaving that, leaving those you love so much. I can’t wrap my head around it, and I witnessed how hard she fought breast cancer 5 years ago. I know she will fight hard to have every last moment and will believe God for a miracle until He takes her by the hand. How do those with no Hope come to terms with this pain? We are so blessed knowing we will be with Him, and will all be together again one day.

So sorry for all of you that have received the bad news. However take comfort that the place that awaits her is where her life begins. God will embrace her in His love until she Mets with her family and friends in the future.
Yes, that is the Hope we put our faith in. What a wonderful Saviour we have that we can have confidence that to be absent from this world is to be present with Jesus!!

That’s the prayer now. I am hoping her husband can bring her home today to spend her last days surrounded by her family. Pray that she will not be in any pain, and that she will find peace and comfort being with those who love her.
