I wasn't old enough to vote, but I bet our national debt would be far, far smaller, the military would be smaller, we'd have been far less entangled in the middle east and, at least in the early 2000s, the stock market would have been through the roof.
Most importantly, it would have made 3rd party candidates viable and, hopefully, the 2 party system would have been finally fucked.
The 2 party system is a huge reason the country is where it is. Both parties survive by dividing the people against each other.
Too young to vote, but my sister had a bumper sticker that said "Don't blame me, I voted for Perot" for that whole election cycle. If I could go back and tell my young self anything, it would be related to college. As much fun as I had going to a 4-year, I would've convinced younger me to go learn a trade. The education part of college was just meh. Oh, I would also tell young me to avoid eating anything fried with Olean. Talk about explosive outcomes... yikes.
Theoretically, he could've won. But he wasn't planning on it. He was there to split the Republican vote and ensure Clinton got in. The cabal (Hillary) supported Trump early on in the primary, they expected him to drop out and run independently to duplicate the Perot effect. Once they realized he wasn't playing along, they dropped the Access Hollywood tapes and did a full 180 against him.
Would've ditched college and gone to trade school. Also would've been way more cynical about girls and knowing that feminism is a fraud. Live and learn.
With enough information about both Clinton and Bush being released, maybe. Election fraud would have had to have been resolved before then, though. I think life would have been much funnier- Ross Perot at least had a sense of humor.
Don't Vote for any R who is a member of the Trilateral Commission or CFR.
"Always vote for principle, though you may vote alone, and you may cherish the sweetest reflection that your vote is never lost.~~ John Quincy Adams.
the one thing I remember was the shabby treatment Stockdale got from the media and the other candidates. people talk about the insulting remarks Trump had directed towards mccain, but where was mccain in support of Stockdale?
The pittance you gain in pursuit of the almighty dollar today, is nothing in comparison to what you loose tomorrow, if you don't wake both friend and foe to the Shit Storm that is on its way.
There is no way to isolate yourself from it,
There is no place to hide from it,
You are but one man, and along you will perish.
There is only salvation tru fellowship.
Find compassion and compromise in your heart, to rally the vagabonds and the ragamuffins of Gods Army, for all will be needed to defeat this demon at our door...
Only the US military could pull off what is happening now! No president could pull this off without being assasinated!
Me too, and you're right, but he was the best man for the job. Our loss.
