I love Cannon Beach. It's beautiful.
Nicely done.
Thanks- I’m thankful for this gift from God
Wonderful gift. Fren
That’s beautiful, LQdy!🤗💐
From God alone
You painted those? Nice! I would love to have that talent.
God given
Of course!
Of course what?
Watercolors?
Yes
Nice, keep at it! Also you might like Jim Gray’s stuff. He’s a watercolor master
Now I want to go there!
I could honestly live there if things weren’t so bad. My favorite area us Olympic Peninsula Beaches in WA though.
In fact I wrote this about the place where I laud my dad’s and Grama’s ashes.
THIS
This, is where the water goes It’s where, It ebbs and flows
This, Is where I find myself Wandering, among the kelp
This is where I hide my dreams It’s where I find my sanity
This is where, I find reprieve This is where I dream
And I get lost within my thoughts I lose all track of time
It’s where the rockhound looks Among the kelp and sand
The sea, it hides great mystery
And this is where the water flows And where I find myself
Yes, I get lost within my thoughts
And this is where I sing and pray Where I’d love to spend each day
Because It’s where I feel close and can converse With the mighty God who created the universe
He created all and called me by name
He showed me love when I was all alone He told me in him I was always home
So you see, the sea is where I find my peace Where I can hear and see and feel released
Released from all my fears, my pain Released from struggles, arguments, worries and drains
Where I laid my dad and gram to rest And where I feel and find myself, I am blessed
What an expressive and sensitive person you are! I think it's a real gift to be able to frame and describe how you feel in all these different ways.
Thanks for sharing the poem. My dad died in 2018 and I poured about 1/10 of his ashes into a river in Hay-on-Wye, a beautiful town where there is a famous literary festival. The rest of his ashes are under a particular new tree in a park in the UK midlands.
The ashes kind of sank into the river and just sat on the river bed in an un-poetic manner. They went all over my shoes in the park. That would have amused him, he'd have written a wry poem about it, he did that kind of thing.
The view from the top looking down is iconic. That's my favorite place on the Oregon Coast.
I have one I started of that view a few yrs back and still need to finish
Lovely.
The Lord gave me a gift and I want to glorify him with it
Fellow Oregonian, or just visiting? How's life on the front lines treating you?
Actually former Washingtonian. Moved to Missouri two years ago to escape the madness and follow our kids and grandbabies. My husband and I just took a trip up Oregon and Washington coast for our 30th Anniversary
Congrats on 30 years!
Danke’
Beautiful!
The reflection in the water on the left is masterfully done. Gorgeous, I can just about smell it.
Lovely! Wish I was there!
Might want to blur your name?
Is self doxxing not allowed? I’m not concerned. I know God is with me.
Oh, if you're fine with that, that's ok w/ me. Just looking out for you anon.
Is it that visible? I seemed buried to me
I can see it brother. shows your first initial and last name when I make the image larger.

Nice work!!!
I'll write you a song if you paint me a painting!
Actually, I have many poems I wrote and can’t write music, can you put music to someone’s writings? Got anything in mind you want painted? I (so far, until God removes my mental block) have only been able to paint from photos. You may be waiting a while though as I have some folks already who have asked me to paint for them.
