Just like the pittance paid out to medical workers who were fired in Texas getting maybe $50,000. That doesn’t even compensate for: 1) Lost wages, 2) mental anguish, 3) property lost-maybe a house, car, or removal of children from private schools or colleges, 4) break up of marriage, 5) possible suicide or drug abuse as a result. I would say, “Hell no i won’t settle for your paltry sum.” How much do the lawyers take you for, and you are left with next to nothing in the end. Money can’t bring your loved one back or repair destroyed lives.
