It's feels so surreal to think I once took Time magazine seriously...

And 60 minutes, Smithsonian, local news…I could go on
We need a Constitutional Amendment that establishes criteria for journalism and information reporting. How exactly that would read and what the vetting process would be, I am open to ideas. It needs to be transparent and free of corruption-
Hell, maybe we should work on an anti corruption amendment that requires the death penalty if someone is found guilty using government assets and resources for personal gain, especially if doing such results in people being screwed over. THEN we can look at establishing journalistic integrity standards.
It's impossible to create a filter that won't be captured and abused by exactly the people it's supposed to filter. The only solution is to democratize the press and let people judge for themselves who is worth listening to.
We don't need new penalties, we already have common law torts. Let people sue for the actual damages they incur due to false reporting and most of the problem disappears.
I mean these standards more as a guiding principle. Not totally absolute.
But there is wisdom in your approach.
Well, look who's on the outside looking in.
hi, Wulfy!
Hi, dty6. Haven't seen you around for awhile...of course me being on vacation for a week does make that more difficult. 😋
Even that Biden looks different from the one we have now.
Is this Mad Magazine? Maybe it is Cracked?
I was saddened to find out that it wasn't a MAD cover. Too much to hope for, I guess.
"What, me worry?"
"What me worry" - It would be lively to see a Biden meme with that.
Don't beat yourself up. I used to think Bush was a good President and that 9/11 happened exactly as they said.
Henry Robinson Luce (born in China) was a cofounder of Time Magazine. In May they were both (Luce and Haden) tapped for the highly prestigious secret society Skull and Bones. (Wikipedia)

Henry Robinson Luce, who would create "the American century," was born in China at the turn of it - a missionary's son who grew up in a walled compound of privilege cut off from the vast peasant world outside his door. This isolation and the idealized China it fostered in the mind of "young boy Luce," as the servants called the first of the reverend's four children, would haunt the adult Harry Luce and, ultimately, his country as well.
I can't help but notice that even in their deranged fantasy, Trump is still seated in the Oval Office.
Looks like a promo for a Walking Dead episode!
If only one of them was that FBI agent that was walked out
Is that Tulsi Gabbard in front of buttgag?
There was a time when I devoured Time, Newsweek and US News and World Report. The Reagan years. My interest waned during Bush I as I became redpilled. That first redpill event being the assassination attempt of Reagan, the links between Hinckley and Bush and the Brady Bill.
And Economist, too
