I never liked that movie. Something isn’t right about promoting suicide. Sure they were women with a wanderlust attitude about life. However suicide & wanderlust are very different! When I went to concerts regularly you always saw two women each wearing a Thelma shirt & the other wearing Louise.
In that final, iconic scene, I really felt bad that they trashed the car. What a waste... of a cool car. Hated the movie otherwise. I will never watch it again.

Agreed! Unfortunately Hollywood doesn’t care about vintage cars.
