I’m listening to the Bible app on my phone every morning, and I’m on Leviticus right now. There are a few lines where it states that it is forbidden to eat anything that swarms on the ground, anything that goes on it’s belly, or anything with many legs, because they are detestable. Is this why the demons are trying to make us eat bugs all of a sudden? That was immediately my thought upon hearing the passages, that they really are trying to perverse everything related to God.

Well fren, you just started the best, most important journey of your life.
such as?
Old commandment. Jesus gives us the New commandment. Old Testament is important, but I would start your journey with the Gospels.
Also, if you have questions please ask. We will help you.
John the Baptist ate locusts and honey.
The apostle Paul said this in his epistle to the Romans -
Personally, when it comes to bugs, to the Lord I will eateth not.
No. John ate locust beans, aka carob beans. This food is also called St. John's Bread.
In our time or the near future, something people will eat will cause them to spiritualize too early. This will save their souls from Satan, while giving their spirits to Lucifer.
This warning was given over 100 years ago by someone who foretold of many of the crazy events that are currently happening, Rudolf Steiner.
Don't eat the bugs.
The more we move into the future, the more I think the 8th sphere will be the metaverse, a matrix of sorts. Sometimes I wonder if we are already in the matrix and are reliving a history lesson. But then my brain hurts.
I wondered about this, too, so I looked it up yesterday...
Leviticus 11 20 'All flying insects that creep on all fours shall be an abomination to you. 21 Yet these you may eat of every flying insect that creeps on all fours: those which have jointed legs above their feet with which to leap on the earth. 22 These you may eat: the locust after its kind, the destroying locust after its kind, the cricket after its kind, and the grasshopper after its kind. 23 But all other flying insects which have four feet shall be an abomination to you.
Jesus called the crowd to him and said, "Listen and understand. What goes into a man's mouth does not make him unclean, but what comes out of his mouth, that is what makes him unclean.”
That being said, I don’t want to eat bugs, especially if these mother WEFers want me to.
Obviously excluding penises
I think what you will find is the Old Testament is filled with the commandments that God required of man to be with him i.e. live a perfect life free from all impurity both spiritual impurity and physical impurity. Obviously being able to follow all these commandments was impossible AND that was the point! For them to realize that they couldn't follow the entire jewish law and without their constant sacrifices of the nicest lamb available they couldnt be forgiven.
That is why Jesus was sent to actually live out the perfect life that we cannot. And to be a final and ultimate sacrifice for all our sins so that we not longer need to continue trying to live up to a perfect standard and no longer need to keep making sacrifices over and over for forgiveness. We are made perfect through Christ and we are forgiven once and for all.
There are lots of 'rules' for the ancient Hebrews for their own safety without a long explanation they couldnt understand back then anyway.
For example the rules regarding funerals were to protect them from diseases. How could you explain viruses or bacteria to people back then. They wandered in the desert for 40 years without sanitation. It is said not to eat meat from clefted animals like pigs. But more because pigs are dirty animals and care needs to be taken to prepare those meats properly and the ancient Hebrews might not be able to cook it at a certain temp or length of time to eat it safely.
Despite reasonings I will never eat bugs, anything that crawls, or any animal known to eat humans.
That was under the law. We are under Grace.
Roman's says things written afore time are for our learning that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures may obtain hope.
Start with Roman's. It the kindergarten of the believer.
Yep, I was talking about that with my elderly mother the other day, even she gets it. Btw insects are made of chitin (protein) which is toxic to humans.
I think it’s because they are gross. That is all
You can eat these if you like.
Lev 11:21 Yet these may ye eat of every flying creeping thing that goeth upon all four, which have legs above their feet, to leap withal upon the earth; Lev 11:22 Even these of them ye may eat; the locust after his kind, and the bald locust after his kind, and the beetle after his kind, and the grasshopper after his kind.
As for me and my house, we'll pass on the bugs, thanks.
That is correct sir, you have made the right connection.
Yes altho there is a part in the NT where one of the disciples dreams of a sheet with bugs in it when he is starving and is told iirc it is OK to eat them so idk
