Thanks. I will say for me it was what I needed to get to where I am now. I had just graduated college and was still looking for work and at 22 I had no clue what the real world really was. I grew up a lot in the following years. It was rough but makes you appreciate what you have and thankfully I didn't lose anyone in my life. It's a long road for those impacted, but one that can bring about much good if you allow it.
Now, this is what local news channels need to be showing instead of blue haired freaks who have had emotional turmoil bestowed upon them by unseen forces. I've often wondered how boats got placed upon the roofs of houses or how structures have been moved from their foundations. This was a great learning experience. Thanks OP for sharing. Oh, by the way, the blue haired freaks need to learn how to grow up and live in a hostile Earth enviroment so maybe they can survive when the real hard times happen.
Footage like this makes me so glad my parents left FL before I was born. Most of the members of both sides of my family still live there. The storm basically played connect-the-dots with everywhere my relatives live.
This breaks my heart. I lost everything in Katrina. 9 feet of water south of New Orleans. It's devastating. I hope everyone left.
Sorry to hear that. I hope so also

I love your attitude.
Amen to that
I'm so sorry - I was in Bush for Katrina - lost everything to wind and trees
OMG! Terrifying and so fast!

OMG - poor people.
FARK!
Wow holy crap! Horrifying 😱
Only way to stop this is to send 100 billion to Ukraine.
I was in Jackson in 1969 when Camille hit the Gulf Coast. 21 foot storm surge. Devastating!
That’s unbelievable. It’s amazing what nature is capable of.
Cow farts
Why not both?🐸
