Is this the final court decision or can he still appeal it? I don't feel any way for Mr. Jones but this is an interesting development and I feel bad for the guy. Normally cases like this don't get far especially when it has to do with the right to free speech. Can't wait to see where this goes.

Probably libel laws. I’m sure the families claimed specific damages due to what he said about it, and they were able to “prove” it as knowingly false statements that he made somehow. I would guess they used Alex’s turning around on the point as proof that he was never confident in the claims in the first place, he probably should have just kept claiming it’s a hoax as if he truly believed it.

I don't care what anyone says. No one will ever make me believe Robbie Parker is a dad to a dead 6 year old - and it never had a thing to do with Alex Jones. I saw him say "do you want me to read it off the card." I saw him smirk and prepare himself for his big debut on stage. I saw the dozens of horribly photoshopped pictures manufacturing the family that was Robbie Parker's. I saw all of the families smiling and enjoying themselves in the presence of Obama the day after their kids had their faces blown in and splattered on a wall.
It's almost like one of these wrongdoers is an individual with at best a small business advertising supplements, and one of these wrongdoers is a mega corporation, and that the system is inherently geared to protect one of these at the expense of another. Like how small business owners and the self-employed in America can often face a tax rate of near fifty percent, but don't get the benefits of healthcare and education that other people in countries with fifty percent tax rates do, with that money instead going to corporate welfare for video game companies and corn sludge manufacturers.

I imagine big pharma can manage to get better lawyers than AJ. I also would bet that they conduct themselves more professionally and are capable of moderating their behavior to a degree that AJ simply can't. He has had several head injuries. But really the biggest problem with these numbers are that one of them is way too low. Pharma should have to pay 10 times that number.
