Heterosexual women take birth control so they can enjoy reckless promiscuous sex the way gay men do. The "slippery slope" did not begin with tolerance of gay marriage. It began with tolerance of spaying and neutering heterosexuals so they could screw for fun.
Don't group people in boxes please. I took birth control because I was abused and found that I could abuse a child when mad. I got my tubes tied as soon as I could, because I love children and do not ever want to hurt one. My mother used birth control because she would have died if she carried anymore children.
Yes, it really does help. I was on birth control for a long time because my periods were debilitating. I was tired of losing a week out of my life every month.
The difference with conception control is that now not every ejaculation inside a woman's womb has to lead to a name.
Homosexuality, both mtm or ftf has been with us for ages. And screwing for fun too. Hence, the many bastards who have no clue as to who their father is. Cookoo eggs.
After having my first child I went on the depo provera shot as birth control, after the 3rd shot my husband told me that if I took another one that he would divorce me. We had only been married a little over 2 years at this point. I did come off of it and we used other forms of birth control. We had our second child and my husband decided, against my objections, to have a vasectomy. The thing is that while I was on this shot my hormones were absolutely ravaged. I was an emotional roller coaster. Now when I say roller coaster I do mean that. Literally one minute I was crying for no reason and the next I would be mad at the world and yelling. I hated myself and everyone around me even though I really did love them. Fact is after not having to use any form of birth control I was happier and stable, back to the person I used to be somewhat. Why somewhat, I have never felt the complete same as before those shots. I have read that birth control messes with the brain and I believe that completely. I am not saying that women should not be able to use birth control but there are forms that are not medicine based that women should explore.
I've heard the interruptions to what is otherwise a normal and healthy menstrual cycle as being biologically akin to going through the trauma of miscarriage, not just once but over and over and over. Over time it adds up like any other stress source that isnt dealt with in that it can cause almost permanent damage that manifests in problems like depression. I say almost because it seems to be something that can be healed slowly over time for those who suffer it, but its a substantive commitment.
It also seems to fuck up a womans sense of smell and taste, similar to pregnancies. When these are used to screen for suitable mates and candidates who would make for good fathers, providers and protectors, then it will hinder relationship-forming rather than help - in additions to the reasons in the clip.
All the chemical forms of birth control do something to normal hormone processes. The unfortunate results are examples of secondary effects from messing with nature, much like injecting toxic spike proteins to evoke one effect without regard to other qualities of the spikes.
exactly - big pharma are dicks! I got a permanent form of contraception (not want I wanted but what was offered), 10 years later completely damaged - cancer etc, there is footage of fdc? (sorry not American) who admit "in 10 years time these women will hunt us down", because they knew the damage it would cause to our bodies - and yes if given the chance I would hunt them down - Idgaf if its spiteful, I suffer immensely because of people WHO KNEW.

My SIL took it because she has extreme menstrual pain and i guess that helps? Shes basically a nun and is a virgin.

Yup, it’s a well known fact. Supposedly women are attracted to less masculine men when on birth control pill.
Women even report enjoying their husband's smell until they stop taking birth control and their husband suddenly smells very different to them.
Additionally studies do show that women not on birth control tend to like masculine, bearded men, while the opposite is true on birth control.
Also, birth control has a high probability of making you gain weight
Makes sense -- the body thinks it's already pregnant.
Some doctors actually compare it to being in a chemical menopause, which actually makes a lot of sense.

Big pHarma have known this for years but they do not care.

They don't care, but nor do the consumers.
If they did they would use condoms and avoid it altogether.
One could make the case that it doesn't feel as good as without, but certainly better than no sex at all.
Informed consent is not a thing anymore and probably never has been
