Words of the author. He loves mother Russia so much he lives in bigoted, racist Florida and recently lost his house in the flood. Hypocrisy doesn't begin to describe it so I'd take his ramblings with a grain of salt.
So, you have no basis for criticism against anything he actually said in THIS article, and have to go rummaging for a salty quotation that you don't like---even if it may also be historically correct. Many slaves did enlist in the Confederate Army.
You can argue about what evils were inherent in the founding of America. I believe it is a mixed bag and major evils were ultimately expelled. (When my forebears came to America from England, they landed in Georgia. They quickly decamped and resettled in the midwest to get away from slavery. They did not want to raise their children in that environment.) But rejecting this guy's observations over a snit about opinion is just lame.
Half of my career was fighting the Cold War, so I got to know the enemy pretty well. His remarks about the knee-jerk xenophobia hit the truth. I see it here on the page, from time to time, as some anon expresses anti-Nazi bigotry against mere Germans. (I happen to be a quarter German, and I have seen this all my life.)
He's free to criticize the US as much as he wants but the fact that he moved there and got his house washed away is a delightful bit of divine justice. It takes a special kind of narcissist to move abroad and then start criticizing the new home and its people while praising the one he left. I hope he reminded all the locals who helped him out they were bigoted xenophobes.
The site itself is also a personality cult where entire threads are devoted to commenters wishing good health to the inimitable master because he can't stop stuffing his face and all criticism is banned immediately.
Just be sure to distinguish between bad manners and bad information. What he's saying matches other information I have seen. The unwary may reap an unpleasant surprise.
I loathe any migrant that disparaged the country he has moved to, so I'll pass on reading this.

People miss intrepret certain data points all the time. It's not intelligent to dismiss someone entirely based getting one or even a series of data points incorrect.
That's why people correct them.
The idea that the USA was founded on genocide, slavery, bigotry and racism is fundamentally retarded.
We have such high standards today to think that the 5000 years of history before us isn't bathed in blood and torture. As if genocide slavery and tribalism hasn't been the norm.

I couldn't get past his railing against the Crusades. They were fully justified.
Well maybe the first Crusade was. But they were decreasingly justifiable as time went on. When the Genoese, Venetians and Pisans got involved they became more about money than anything. And then the last Crusades that took place in Europe itself were nothing more than religious genocide. They werent even fighting Caliphates any longer.
Evils inherited? Damn. I thought Jesus symbolized humanity's understanding that each person was their own and not beholden to their father's sin, and that I was supposed to move forward in life focusing on bettering myself as a person...

I am of the opinion that Trump and Putin are probably working together against the pedo death cult. I am also of the opinion that Putin is Russia first, which I have no problem with. But they also are no friends of the American People. They are competitors. I am ok with that. I am ok with a level playing field for all the worlds people. I am ok with all of the Nations of the world working to improve the lot of their own populace.

It's tough though, if his thoughts on the US were not regurgitations of that narrative. Poisoned wells are poisonous. The last thread with this guy's content got a lot more tolerance because he wasn't known, but now that people are more familiar with his color of thought, he's going to be as well regarded as a skidmark on a gifted pair of tighty whities. A proper comparison for an immigrant of his caliber.
Judging by the number of posts telling me not to read the article, I decided that I really had to read it all the way through. It's interesting and afaict mostly or wholly true. The only thing wrong with it is the number of typos.
