After a day or so they are waterlogged and can be broken up into a slurry. This slurry was put in a ‘brick’ shaped mould where a lever squeezed out the excess water. The paper brick is then removed and put in the Sun to dry. It’s a messy process but if you can get access to shredded paper it would be easier because I remember it being tiring ripping up newspapers etc.
