What is put in tap water isn’t pharmaceutical grade nor is it natural “calcium fluoride”. It’s a by-product of the fertilizer industry. Here’s what is added to tap water. It is toxic. See below PDF’s:
Studies by Drs. H.S. Brown, D.R. Bishop and C.A. Rowan in the early 1980s demonstrated that an average of 64% of the total dose of waterborne contaminants, such as fluoride, are absorbed through the skin. (American Journal of Public Health 1984; 74: 479-84) —Fluoride: Drinking Ourselves to Death, Barry Groves, pp. 275-265
A study by Professor Julian Andelman, Professor of Water Chemistry at the University of Pittsburg’s Graduate School of Public Health, “found less chemical exposure from drinking the water than from using it to wash clothes or take a shower or a dip in the swimming pool”. Every time you take a shower or go for a swim, you will be soaking it up. The percentage for skin absorption are as follows: Scalp – 32%, Ear Canal – 46%, Forehead – 36%, Plant of Foot – 13%, Forearm – 9%, Palm – 12%, Male Scrotum – 100%.
Dr. Dean Burk, Chief Chemist Emeritus of the National Cancer Institute published a paper in 1975 that detailed an increase in cancer deaths in fluoridated areas. According to Burk, “In point of fact, fluoride causes more cancer, and causes it faster, than any other chemical”.
Fluoride is NOT essential. In 1979, the FDA required the deletion of all government references previously classifying fluoride as “essential or probably essential”, (Federal Register, March 16, 1979, page 16006).
Robert Carton, PhD formerly President of the union of Government Scientists working at the US Environmental Protection Agency said: “Water fluoridation is the greatest case of scientific fraud of this century, if not of all time.” In 1997, more than 1,000 members of this union working at USEPA HQ in Washington DC, who are directly responsible for the US Safe Drinking Water Act, voted UNANIMOUSLY to ban water fluoridation. Their bosses are not listening.
There is not a single scientific or laboratory study from anywhere in the world which proves that fluoridation reduces tooth decay in humans. There are, however, hundreds of published scientific papers which show that water fluoridation is dangerous to human, animal, plant and aquatic life, which is no surprise, since fluoride is more toxic than lead and only marginally less so than arsenic. (Clinical Toxicology of Commercial Products, 5th ed., Gosselin, et al, 1984.).
“Fluorides are general protoplasmic poisons, probably because of their capacity to modify the metabolism of cells by changing the permeability of the cell membrane and by inhibiting certain enzyme systems … The sources of fluorine intoxication are drinking water containing 1 ppm or more of fluorine, fluorine compounds used as insecticidal sprays for fruits and vegetables (cryolite and barium fluosilicate) and the mining and conversion of phosphate rock to superphosphate, which is used as fertilizer. The fluorine content of phosphate rock, about 25% of the fluorine present, is volatilized and represents a pouring into the atmosphere of approximately 25,000 tons of pure fluorine annually … The known effects of chronic fluorine intoxication are those of hypophasia of the teeth, which has been called mottled enamel, and of bone sclerosis.”

So where exactly did this eight glasses of water a day voodoo come from? The very idea of a "minimal water requirement" is actually a fairly recent notion that first appeared in dietary guidelines published in 1945 by the Food and Nutrition Board of the National Academy of Sciences. The academy spuriously suggested that "2,500 mL [2.5 liter] of fluid should be ingested on a daily basis," although a primary clinical study was never actually cited.
The idea may have been at least partly put forth by Frederick J. Stare, an influential 21st century nutritionist and founding chairman of the department of nutrition at the Harvard School of Public Health. (He passed away in 2002 at age 91.) Stare was one of the first to recommend that humans consume six or so 12-ounce glasses of water a day.
1 of my first serious red pills that had me screaming from the rooftops to friends and family and anyone that would listen. so easily provable that it's not for the health of our teeth. many wouldn't listen to me then though and just figured I was loopy. fortunately, over the years some have come to realize this and other "theories" of mine weren't so far fetched
I’m with ya there. It’s hard to be smarter than everyone else especially when they are so stupid that they brush off your intelligence as ‘crazy’. It’s like ‘no I’m literally just connecting basic data points and finding meaningful correlation”
Many municipal water systems used chlorine dioxide to purify their drinking water before the big con of selling industrial waste to the cites.. Some municipalities still use chlorine dioxide.
I've tried to find the source of that "8 glasses" recommendation. The general consensus guess is that it stemmed from a National Resource Council recommendation in about 1945, that adults should drink 1 ml/calorie of food, about 2 - 2.5 liters a day. Some water purveyors have been promoters of the idea. Otherwise this myth has been busted over and over. Solid food provides quite a bit of water in our diet. Water fluoridation varies a lot, geographically. https://www.cdc.gov/fluoridation/statistics/2018stats.htm
I was born and spent my first years in Colorado before fluoridation was a thing and still have all my teeth and they are quite hard, which my dentists have all attributed to natural fluoridation. People like me inspired the water program, sorry, but I think putting it in toothpaste was a worse mistake. If people don't swallow some then they spit it out and eventually it adds to the environment.
Oooohhhh fricken point! I have wondered how we managed to drink enough water growing up without anyone really pushing it. Some how we knew how much we needed but now we’re idiots who need specific information so our bodies continue to run! Damn - I already think of a high profile death or arrest or scandal with a new perspective now I’ve got to get into the weeds on everything!: “When every lie we (DS) tell is believed, then we have won.” Every Thing Is A Lie—potentially!
I don’t drink water except for beer whiskey and coffee. I’m fine so far after 50 years. You don’t need to drink water, your food is full of it. My dad never really drank water either and he’s still kicking.
Omg. Was every fucking thing a lie?! I’m so over all of it. So glad we have a well.
Sadly, yes, imo. Also don’t think we’ve even scratched the surface.
Interesting…

It’s nothing more than toxic waste or pollution.

Apparently the UK is now going to add fluoride to their water (said the 2021 article).
Just found this….notice the date? 1945

I use it and do a few drops every day
Not every municipality adds fluoride to their water. Just so you don’t look silly when someone points it out later.
Well, I never stated they did. But your comment did spark a question in my mind. So, thx.
States with the most fluoridated water (ranked in order).

So what poisons are we ingesting when we drink bottled water? I’ve no doubt it too has added chemicals that harm us!
Microplastics are food for the soul. 😋

Fluoride has been added to water at least since the 60s, presumably to help with tooth decay.
