They will use this increase in theft (which was purposefully created by woke policies) as an excuse to store product in locked cases. This will give them an excuse to usher in some type of digital ID/mark of the beast type system and normies will actually be accepting of it and probably cheer it on because they will be tired of seeing people loot and pillage while paying higher prices due to the theft.
