I have this concern with how many historical figures were actually just puppets while others pulled their strings behind the stage
With the way Trump was treated, I wonder how many historical figures we were told were bad are actually good. For example, I believe Joe McCarthy was right and massively demonized.

Yep. Think also outside of politics. I know of one person who was a massive threat to the Establishment, especially in the realm of religion.
