Neuralink can be hit or miss for people, but I know the technology is coming and I'd prefer it to be someone who isn't the person literally creating things to fry brains "for fun" like Oculus dude
Humans are hackable with or without that sort of technology.
What's extra concerning is when Palmer Luckey created a headset for fun that killed you when you died in a video game.
"On November 6, 2022 Luckey posted to his own website telling of a modification he had made to a VR headset which used three “explosive charge modules” tied to a “narrow-band photosensor” which can detect when the screen flashes red at a specific frequency therefore acknowledging the game-over screen. When this screen is displayed the charges will fire “instantly destroying the brain of the user”."
I want the guy who at least is showing a lot of good right now to achieve that technology first, because it's coming down the pipeline whether people want it or not.
Most bllionaires either just sit on it, or use it to fund some run for office. It is nice to see one of them actually doing something that isn't just for them. I wonder what the recent lottery wiinner, who will take home more than half a billion, will do with the money?
PITs primarily, which is where they were in the first place. Nothing for actual logistical support due to the extended time it takes to charge the damn things.
I think the plan is short-haul routes with mega-chargers at the load/unload dock. If they do that, the drivers will never have to wait for a charge, never run out of charge, never visit a gas/fueling station.
To improve technology you have to create technology. To sustain technological growth, you have to sell the iterations of that technology. 500 mile range semis is great for places like California which intends to get rid of all gas powered vehicles.
Think logically instead of emotionally.
Lol. Emotional non-thinkers don't understand how technology works and that you need to sell iterative technology to not go into the red while developing and improving it.
Re: Batteries, those are being created one way or another. This is a problem that needs to be fixed, and it was a problem before electric vehicles. The solution isn't just "don't", as just about every technology we presently have uses them in some capacity at this point.
Re: Disposal, there is no good way to dispose of them...but there is also no good way to dispose of other types of batteries either. If we can solve problem #1, we can solve problem #2.
Re: This whole conversation: This wasn't about batteries. This was about "not being able to reach 750 mile range", and "EV semis only reaching 500 miles", and my response is simply that technology will always be iterative and you have to sell technology while you iterate on it in order to continue putting funds away to research and develop more.
Every single technology in modern history is built on this capitalistic structure. Every semiconductor, every manufacturing process, even the wheel has been iterated on and sold since its creation oh so long ago.
Don't want EVs? Unfortunately, the reality is we have them. Worse, the reality is that the leftists are trying to ban normal vehicles.
For shipping to remain plausible, the market rises to meet demand.
A lot of shipments come through California, and if they follow through with their ban of diesel powered vehicles the country requires some form of shipping transportation, at least in California.
These problems and my answers do not have anything to do with Elon except he has innovated and progressed EVs more than anyone else in the space and is the front runner for the solution to the problem.
If you want to slap on some foil and talk about how he is getting to 500 mile range at roughly the same time as this diesel ban is happening, that's one thing.
But saying someone is an "Elonomite" for stating an undeniable fact (technology is iterative and needs to be sold as it is developed to further iterate upon it) is just silly.
I have. President Donald J. Trump.
I think the two might be pretty good friends
Aye. 👍🇺🇸❤️
Came here to say this

So tell me, that every time you hear the term Neuralink, you do not make the connection to the "humans are hackable" evil bastard Yuval Noah Harari?

Well, when you have a team to delegate to, you can get a lot done
Well it's not quite AS big, but my husband's company popped BASF out of 8 figures for fraud.
3 boom weeks coming (there is qdrop about it)
POTUS Donald John Trump.
Lost me at "green" semis... can we cut the crap on the bs grift fantasy of green lies?
Well, I was laid up with the flue. Prolly not a god week to compare.
Rocking It in the USA!!!
He sure has been a busy boy.
I’be tried to replicate your awesome look, but fortunately failed miserably.

I think EV should be confined to ONLY commercial vehicles. Not enough lithium in the world to do what they want.
PITs primarily, which is where they were in the first place. Nothing for actual logistical support due to the extended time it takes to charge the damn things.
So, if I want to go on a road trip and have any kind of range, I have to get a semi? 😏😄
Who is the thumbnail of, Jerry Garcia's distant cousin?
3 wins and 2 losses for humanity
All this feels like some WWF bullshit to me@! Would love to be wrong but I doubt it@!
I didn't advance the downfall of man with stupid Ai interface tech amd im not impressed with morons who do.
I'd do a lot more if I had access to his kind of wealth and resources
I have when Ted Turner really took it to Vince McMahon during the Monday Night Wars. Mondays have never been as exciting since.

Truck stops may close, or they may install mega chargers to get electric trucks to park for 30 minutes.
Shippers may deny toilet use today, but the ones that install mega chargers might also put in a toilet and a coffee shop.
I expect the world will adapt. When we rode horses, there were no gas stations or truck stops either.

"Elonomite", now what a retarded claim that is.
