A very good friend of mine, who is a lesbian, and very left-leaning, told me she can’t wait to vote in 2024. I asked her why was that? If Trump ran for president, would she vote for him? I’m so frustrated! We are our worst enemy. After decades I’m finally figuring this out. Long story short, I’m struggling with my health and have gained more weight. I’m working on it but it’s going to be a long process. I can fit into about a tenth of my clothes. Has anyone noticed how cheap the clothes are in US? I’ve searched on multiple search engines and keep getting clothes shops online with expensive clothes made cheap. Five years ago I could have found everything I wanted at Marshall’s, TJ Maxx, Ross, Target and even Walmart. I dress very casual (tshirts, yoga pants and jeans) I can dress up and have always had nice clothes for going out, etc. I can’t blame the black hats for my weight gain but they are responsible for the supply chain. I’m old enough to remember going shopping in your local town at nice stores downtown. As someone said about twenty years ago when the last clothes department store closed, “you can’t even buy a decent bra or underwear in this town”. Don’t get me wrong I love buying online for things I can’t find here. I miss buying clothes and home goods. A friend once told me I got to feel the fabric. Lastly why can fat men find the clothes they need but fat women don’t have that option? Sure I could spend $$$ on one item but I refuse to spend that much when it’s all made by the same kids in foreign countries. Honestly I haven’t even seen very expensive clothes available. Rant over and more incentive to get the weight off.
If you’re looking for quality clothes at places, like Walmart, TJ Maxx, Ross, etc., you will be let down continually. Are used to be a huge shopper, know how to find good deals, and quality products.
There are some things that you just have to spend decent money on to have a garment that will last you a long time. One of those things is jeans. You can buy jeans more expensive, like. - as a female…Miss Me, Silver, Rock Republic, and a little less expensive, but still quality Daytrip. If you go to places like Buckle - which is a common store in malls, and online… You can find more expensive, jeans, and wait for them to go on sale, or order their imperfect genes. Imperfect meaning… There may be a thread that’s not perfect. Not the product overall quality.
I just put on a pair of Miss Me jeans yesterday, that are at least seven or eight years old. I was impressed how they have lasted so long, and still look great. They were somewhere around $100, but what a great investment.
Also, one of the most important garment a woman can purchase, is a good bra. I know Victoria’s Secret has their own secrets, however; their price or expensive, but they last forever. I have bought bras there seven years ago, that are still in excellent condition. They were well worth the investment. A good time to purchase with Victoria’s Secret is during their annual, or semi annual sale. Sometimes they’ll have buy two get one free, or buy three for a specific discounted price. That’s when I would shop there. I never pay full price.
You can also find quality garments at a Macy’s, you just have to be diligent, and look through the clearance, and find all kinds of great things. I found some great deals at Macy’s clearance, beautiful, tie-dye dresses, and tank tops for under $10. Although I think an average price item in clear, it would be around $30.
I’m not saying I’m not above purchasing a $15 shirt at Walmart, but I’ve never expected any of those garments to ever last more than one or two years, and that’s pushing it. The fabric that they make the garments out of, always get those little balls on them, which is a sign of a cheap garment.
I do understand your frustration about things becoming more expensive these days, however, if you have an opportunity to go out and do some real shopping in person, I’m confident you’ll find some items that are worthwhile. When shopping clearance, I only select items that are colors that I like, or styles that I know for sure I would wear. Then I also look at the sizes on the hangers, although those are not always correct. Best wishes on your new shopping extravaganza.
Actually I’ve got great quality clothes in my closet that’s at least 8-10 years old that were purchased at Marshall’s, Ross & TJ. I just can’t fit in them at the moment. I don’t believe I said I expected quality from Walmart. Heck I’d take mediocre from Walmart if I could find it. I’ve been out shopping locally and several hours away to large cities. I’ve never seen such poor selection in women’s clothing. Twenty years ago I was in a 3X and everything I wore came from TJ Maxx type clothes. That’s what I’m getting at the quality and selection has gone way down over the last 2-4 years even before plandimic. I remember my good friend saying gay men were designing the clothes ugly on purpose. She was joking but her point was correct the clothes began getting ugly around four years ago. I’ve searched online, even Macy’s and their clothes are there times the price. I’ve found the exact same tops on Amazon and Walmart. I didn’t purchase because reviews are very bad. Maybe the clothes are great where you live but in my southern area they are ugly and frumpy. Again, I paid less than 12 bucks for jeans at Ross over ten years ago and they are still in great condition, just can’t get them on. I only wore VS up until last year only because they don’t go past a certain size. Even if I was loaded in money I would not pay 100 bucks for a pair of jeans. In high school I wore men’s Levi’s and I’ve yet to find another brand as comfortable. I’m not a lesbian, all the girls wore Levi’s back then. It’s not a designer town! I’m working on the weight and will be back in my clothes hopefully in a few months. I’ve got enough to get me by. We all have different styles. I haven’t seen anything at stores like Macy’s I’d want to wear. I prefer either tshirts or vintage boho style. Also I’m noticing the current style is cropped at the waist shirts and even if I was a size zero I wouldn’t wear that. Honestly I was wondering if others are seeing the same situation with clothes availability. If nothing else I’ll raid the hubby’s tshirt stash.

Clothes are my vice. I shop at Dillards and Macys. I go to a Dillards outlet too. I buy at 65% off or more. Rarely do I buy items not on sale. I sometimes buy duplicates of clothes I love on Poshmark. I buy clothes that last. I wash on delicate and dry carefully or lne dry. I see people destroy their clothes just washing them.
Ps. If I find something that I really like, and they have a duplicate, I will buy two as well. That way when one of them where is out, I can have the other one for a back up. But it Hass to be at a good price.
We are kindred spirits! How you launder your garments is huge! I never wash my jeans with anything other than denim. Ever! I also never wash any of my clothes with sheets, bedding, or towels. Especially towels. Towels will ruin your clothes, so quickly, and will get lint balls on everything, and it just ruff the clothes up. I also use stain grabber sheets because they really do work, and keep your clothes from getting dingy. I primarily use those with colored clothing. I bleach, my white clothes on a regular basis as well. I have so many clothes, I can go for a month without having to wash them. But I have separate stand up garment disorders to put my clothes by color and type. I am really OCD about how I wash my clothes. I just started washing blue and pink together! Lol it was a huge deal. I told my mom alert the media. I also never use cheap laundry detergent. Tide is expensive, but if you wait for it to be on sale, you can get it for close to what the cheap stuff is for. For my blacks and my denim, sometimes I will splurge and use the special detergent for dark clothes. Dillards another great place to get clothes on sale. We should go shopping sometime. Lol.
I am living in an RV right now. We sold our home and are retiring and moving soon. I have very limited room to store clothes so my shopping is limited for the near future which is depressing.

After 25 years, my close buddy retired from the Air Force. He hates following the news, purposely avoids current events, doesn’t bother to vote but actually leans right. He’s removed himself from most group chat circles that I included him in since I try to wake people up nearly every day. He is double jabbed and got the booster over the summer even though I warned him. ☹
Shockingly he sent me a link regarding the vaxx mandates and how it’s crippling the military recruiting numbers. He goes on to bash the 0biden administration and their policies which are worsening the problem. I’ll handle him with kid gloves since he might be starting to wake up. 🤷♂️
Local orthodontist is back to 100% muzzles for the staff. Thankfully, no patients in the lobby were wearing a face diaper. Seeing an increase of masked sheep in the stores as well. Sadly, I overheard an older lady asking a CVS employee about getting the injection. Didn’t have time to engage or warn her. Store shelves seems to be stocked well, but industrial vendors for my employer are still seeing delays. Vehicle inventory at local dealerships seems to have recovered from last year, but regional auto parts stores are struggling with replacement parts.
So far, schools have been strangely quiet about injections and muzzles. I hope they suddenly don’t go full tyranny and try that garbage again.
Radio and TV ads for injections are still present, but some normie parents are agreeing that the vax doesn’t work.
Do any of you follow Martin geddes? He does a newsletter and a blog ? He takes fantastic photos. He wrote a book about Q. He was a computer boffin..very high salary etc..walked away from it all. He went through all the steps needed to be declared sovereign ..I think he had to write to the queen as part of it so he could not be drafted ..or forced to be in any of the schemes ..NHS..taxes etc..he is totally free ..like the gypsies are. the gypsies do what they want..legally the police can't touch them..they don't pay rates they don't tax their cars or buy a licence to drive .NADA..they laugh at us who are part of the system.

Martin Geddes looks like Patrick Gunnels on crack. And most of his letters to the local counsel are ... frankly he's nuts.
Half of his letters are some version of "your receipt of this letter forfeits your right to collect and constitutes agreement with such and such because you received it" --- they read like an extremely dubious Terms of Service contract - basically "if you read it you're automatically agreeing to it" - just batshit.
Though I totally agree with his resolve to not comply. That's pretty inspiring. But I hope he doesn't actually think he can win. Hopefully he knows this is good publicity for his message but he's probably going to jail for it.
Martin would go to jail if it went that far and then sue them..it is an illegal tax and although the UK courts are very corrupt if they jail him then they are in trouble themselves...don't think magistrates want to do that to aid corrupt council so openly?

Hmmmm, it would have to be for dress up, not everyday, not for my lifestyle. For dress up, and for not real history, I loved the costuming in Game of Thrones, for men and women, would that be medieval ?
I am watching Murdoch mysteries right now, and I love these type of clothes. It’s around the same timeline the late 1800s to the early 1900s. People didn’t have a lot of clothes, but the clothes that they did have, were actually handmade for that person. Things fit properly, instead of trying to find something to fit at a clothing store these days.
I think the word for the style is Renaissance Fashion, Elizabethan, it's just too gorgeous, uncomfortable as hell, but for costume, I think it's the most beautiful thing that has been done with cloth in the Western World, Europe, Spain and Germany.
