The oceans trap more carbon in their plant life then all the trees. Commerical fisheries have dredged the sea floor that is equal to the land mass of sweden, norway, iceland, england, spain, portugal, italy, and australia. Majority of plastics in ocean is due to commercial fishing nets. Ocean activists are controlled opposition created by fisheries.
The carbon scam goes so deep... For one thing, carbon is not a pollutant.
You got these assholes spewing chemicals, pesticides, poisons of all kinds in our food, water, land, and air, and they have people worried about carbon, which is the foundational molecule for life.
Plants breathe carbon like we breathe oxygen. There has been plenty more carbon it the atmosphere in the earth's history and it is by no means a significant correlant to average temperature. The climate is so complex, to think we can isolate the determinant to carbon and then demonize carbon is just so fucking absurd.
If you care about the environment, stop buying shit wrapped in 3 layers of plastic. Stop practices like planned obsolescence, that create garbage. Stop chemical farming. Start a garden and change your kitchen habits.
Carbon taxes and solar panels have nothing to do with the environment, they are only green as in money-making
People don't for instance understand the importance of shipping in the equation. Wasn't it something like 42% of all the air pollution comes from like 20 huge ships or something?
Firstly, all talk of carbon per se is silly. Global Warming is not caused by carbon but by carbon dioxide (CO2). They prefer to say carbon because that is nasty black stuff that is easy to dislike. Carbon dioxide, on the other hand, is a clear gas that is actually vital for life as we know it.
Plants breathe carbon dioxide and they breathe out oxygen which is where all our oxygen comes from. In fact, prior to plants there was no oxygen in the atmosphere and when it started to appear it killed off most of the then existing life on earth. It was a serious pollutant!
If Carbon dioxide levels drop below 200 parts per million (0.02%) then plants will struggle to survive. We are currently around 400 ppm. In the distant past it is known to have been 7,000 ppm.
The climate hoax is kept alive by lying by omission. They omit to tell you that the biggest greenhouse gas is water, H2O. The next biggest is natural CO2. After that comes man-made CO2.
Another omission is that while CO2 does cause warming, warming also produces CO2. As the earth warms it drived CO2, where most of it exists, into the atmosphere. In Al Gore's An Inconvenient Truth film he shows CO2 and temperature in lock step for over 400,000 years. That is Vostok Ice Core data. What he omits to mention is that the earth always warmed before the CO2 increase. That implies that the warming is increasing the CO2 not the other way round. The lag is about 600 years, by the way.
The situation is only scary if you believe their most scary models and remember that the same person who does the scary climate models, Neil Fergusson at Imperial College, also did the scary COVID-19 models. Spot a pattern here?
Even if you believe those models, if you reduced the UK back to the stone age the earth would only live an extra day or two. Is it worth it?
The fact that you ask this question, suggests that you believe the narrative that carbon is harmful. Why even worry about how carbon is sequestered, or come up with methods to control it? The CO2 lie is just that, a lie.
Carbon is also a sliver of a sliver of a sliver of the atmosphere. There is a chart out there that actually shows the ratios and they have to zoom in on the chart three times before carbon is even visible.
oooh shit......Security !......we got a thinker over here......

It's due to litter in countries that allow pollution. They say all the ocean's plastics come from nine rivers.
EDIT now it's 10 rivers

It's never about carbon, it's always about class warfare.
Out of all flight emissions in the world, half of those emissions are from the 1% flying on their private jets.
Any sauce on this? I'd love to see.

Their theory implies that we are digging up the carbon from under the ground
Trees are natures air filters; bad air goes in, good air comes out.
Shhhhhhhhh They hate it when you state the obvious .
More CO2 means more plants for food, and they don’t want more food, because they can’t control the populations.
How DARE you!!! Don't you start bringing logic and science to the discussion- you racist!!
