That’s how it will probably be reported to us, but the truth is that laptop is in the hand’s of white hats. If it wasn’t we wouldn’t know anything about it.
I know the story on the cops who died after seeing it and the one who lived to tell the story. All that’s probably true, but I’m betting that one remaining cop was put under white hat protection and that laptop was seized by them.
All that’s just a guess, but it seems like a good one!
I’m in IT currently at a city/govt account. A smaller city, around 350k population. And I’ve been in the evidence room because they have a computer for tracking items in it. And all I can say is it would take the human torch to start that fucker on fire like that. The entire room is it’s own sealed off almost separate building within the building. Multiple sets of security doors where it requires someone to buzz you in at each. And then nothing in the room except the evidence itself is even close to flammable (steel and concrete only).
So unless this was intentional the only other thing I could see is some comic book level villain crafting a very coordinated set of drug busts or something that were actually like a new synthetic chemical that once in proximity with one another suddenly explode … or something like that.
Just read this after I made a comment about the type building that would be used to store a hard drive, data, dna and things like that.
From what I’m reading and seeing this doesn’t seem to be the place Weiner’s laptop would be stored. Being surrounded by water is a good way of stopping someone from taking vehicles, but it also allows for ppl to sneak onsite much easier than storing in a basement somewhere.
Either this was an accident, had nothing to do with destroying evidence that pertains to “the plan” or it was white hats getting ppl to talk.
I was thinking earlier watching the court dealings I n AZ the defense was talking about how they were the custodians of ballets and they would have to oversee blah blah blah and my first thought was “Those ballots are gonna be disappeared.”

I found it interesting that he didn’t mention things like dna, hard drives and weapons. A local reporter just mentioned a few vehicles from high profile cases that were tied to cases that have already gone to court and and for the most part been settled.
Sounds like this place is where they stored vehicles and evidence from cases that have already gone to court, which makes sense. I’m betting there is a much more secure facility with good fire suppression systems and impressive climate control that they keep evidence from ongoing investigations. Probably a basement that is designed to protect dna and computer storage data devices, then again, these ppl are stupid so you never know🤷🏻♂️

Just read that article and I’m skeptical that place stored DNA evidence. I heard a captain talk about vehicle damage, but he said nothing of DNA.
Also, the article calls the place a “vehicle pound” and that doesn’t seem like, nor look like, a place biological or electronic data would be kept.
That article also said the evidence in there was from old cases and cold cases, Weiner’s laptop is neither🤷🏻♂️
