Something is not right about this story.
Unless something changed, possible, NICS has 3 days to respond to an FFL dealer's background check request. If they do not, they can complete the purchase. Its called "default proceed".
Haha. Why did I not read the comments. I was writing this exact post and thought "I should check to see if someone already wrote this."
We have the best frens, here.
Merry Christmas, fren.
Merry Christmas!
Could be the state AO lives in has more stringent requirements for background checks.
Yeh. This feels off. I used to own a gun shop in the 90s and this is some trolling.
Definitely not trolling. Awakened Outlaw is a true patriot.
Do not delay get those lawsuits filed!
Rural king waits until they get a green light from the government, (30 days)the government never responds.. you are denied your purchase... The law is 72 hrs . If you don't hear from the government in 72 hrs it's supposed to be automatic . But again , management up top of rural king is liberal. This is how they play the system.
And people thought the NRA was an ally to the second amendment. this background check shit was their idea.
Gun shows? These have the checks? Used guns?
Never heard of this happening though. Wonder if there is a specific state its happening in.
From what AO is saying, it sounds like the ATF is simply ignoring the background check request and letting it time out. They aren't approving or denying the sale.
Tyranny by bureaucracy.
If you have to ask permission to exercise your rights, then you don’t have rights.
3D print the receiver and buy a kit.
So... someone I know went to DC on Jan 6, and he purchased a firearm since then with no probs. No probs at the airport security either.
Now, he didn't enter the Capitol, and actually drove into DC in a rental car. So there's that.
But your guns with cash from private citizens. Fuck their permission.
This is where 80% lowers become necessary.
They are not as hard as people might think. Takes some time to get it right and if one is careful and pays attention to detail a lower for an AR-15 can be done in a weekend or even less.

The prisoners too are having basic human rights violated I've heard.
Anyone else have a similar experience trying to buy a firearm?
Seems like he is just making a connection himself
Pretty sure there is some paperwork you can file to see what's in your record that jamming it up
