He has 5 days from the end of closing arguments to render a decision. Which would make the decision no later than December 27th.
The judge didn't specify a timeline. He just said it wouldn't be by 5:00 (last Thursday), as he needed time to look at everything.

yes .. also maricopa county Board is run by republican party members. Liddy who is the lawyer representing the county against Lake is the son of G. Gordon Liddy of watergate fame. This whole battle in AZ is literally a GOP civil war. Hobbs is just exploiting this rift

County collects the ballots at the vote centers
Delivers them uncounted to Runbeck. only giving to runbeck an Estimate Total of ballots
Runbeck then takes those ballots and then counts and adjudicate ballots in its main facility. The same facility that actually print brand new ballots
So the county has no idea how many total ballots were actually filled out by real voters. This is the reason why 3 weeks after the election is over. the county still can't tell you how many more ballots are left to count.
Something, something, the only thing that matters is who counts the votes.
